I bought the Stubby antenna for my 2012 Mustang GT convertible. I live in Los Angeles where we have some of the strongest AM signals on Earth. I listen to sports talk and news radio all day in my car. When I put the Stubby on, the signal got worse. I mean, it got worse than the radio sounded with NO antenna on my car. I took it off, put the factory antenna back on, and all my radio stations came in clearly again. It's too bad because the Stubby looks good on the car, but what's the point, if it doesn't work. Maybe there's a good reason Ford went with a 14 inch antenna, eh? I also have a ham radio and commercial broadcasting background, so I'm used to working with radio equipment of all kinds. Very, VERY disappointing purchase. I'd give it no stars, if Amazon would let me. I also wouldn't have written this review, but for the annoying e-mail I got from CravenSpeed encouraging me to write a review!

I replaced an antenna that was broken, but love it better than the original. Works great and looks sleek.

Wanted to tone down the length of my stock antenna on my 2011 'stang.Snagged this one from CravenSpeed for a great price. Fast as hell shipping and the product was exactly as advertised.Installation was a snap. Unscrew your old antenna and screw this one on in it's place. Piece of cake.The fit was perfect and it is indeed short, but very cool looking.Living in the NYC metro area, the radio stations come in as loud and clear as the stock antenna.A nice modification to your car at a nice price!

Looked around at quite a few different stubby antennas and kept coming back to this one. Finally ordered it and installed it and couldn't be happier. I still get a strong signal from all the stations I listen to but your experience may vary since I believe I live quite close to all the radio stations.

Perfect fit, great price and well made! This is my second one on two different vehicles. If you use FM/AM you may notice less reception. But I only listen to satellite or pandora so it's perfect for me.

Very fast delivery and very well packaged. The antenna itself does not perform as well as the factory antenna, though - signal loss is significant. Works fine if you're near the station transmitters, but once you start getting some distance away, signal fades rather quickly. I don't listen to the radio much anyway - I bought this more for appearance. But thought it was important to note this.

Unscrew the old one and screw in this one. Nothing to it. Looks good. I don't use the radio much, but it seems to have good reception. I got this to make it easier to use a car cover and I am pleased that it is even smaller than I had pictured.

Arrived quickly and I couldn't wait to open the box! I was impressed by the build quality and appearance. This is a ten second job to remove the factory antenna from my 2011 Mustang GT, and installing the Stubby. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to improve their cars appearance with a shorty antenna.
