Magnetic Flipper Coin (Half Dollar) by Tango

The instructions enclosed with the coin are virtually useless.I am familiar with shell coins and have several "scotch and soda" sets that are great showpieces (not Tango products)The enclosed instructions tell the user that "one side of the coin has a cut" (there was nothing on the face of either side), and then goes on to say to open the coin you should "wave it", whatever that means.The package with the coin also references Tango's online video instructions and routines for the coin.There are a large number of videos but none for the Magnetic Flipper.The only flipper coin video I could fine is for the Flipper Coin Pro which is a non-magnetic gravity opened coin.The only way that I could see to possible open this coin is with a "bang ring" (not referenced or included).I would expect that with proper instructions this might be a useful product.

Remember this, it is not two separate coins. It is two coins attached by a rubber band. Good quality otherwise and comes in a nice steady box

Learned my lesson to not buy tango coins. Will be sticking with kueppers coins. The half that doesn't move, really really doesn't move. It's super glued down, witch means you can't "fix" this once you need to. Turning this into garbage once the inner part goes awry.

Does not lay flat on the hand. Clearly a gimmick coin. Magician needs to work around this. Not what I expected. Otherwise it does have value in other applications.
