Disappointing
I drink white tea every day, ever since I first discovered Pai Mu Tan through Wilkinson's Tea in the UK (their shop in Norwich). My wife bought me some as a birthday gift and I've adored it ever since. Our last batch came from Floating Leaves in Seattle. Alas though, they don't sell it on their website - we could only get it from them in person. So to Amazon I went in search of an alternative supplier. At its best, Pai Mu Tan has a delicate, vaguely floral flavor to it, and a sort of light-tannin mouthfeel. The combination of the two is heavenly - the champagne of teas. This company's tea however, while it has the mouthfeel of Pai Mu Tan and seems to have come direct from China, completely lacks that delicate flavor, or really much of any flavor at all. Perhaps it was a bad batch, but either way, it was a huge disappointment. We've now discovered that Wilkinson's has a US store, and we shall be buying this stuff from there in future instead.Avoid.

Lovely Pai Mu Tan White Tea
This Pai Mu Tan is gentle, as white tea should be, while having a very nice vegetal/broth-like quality. I love this tea. For organic, it's reasonably priced and a little goes a long way. I have a stainless coffee maker dedicated to tea. Using a metal basket, I add about a Tablespoon (not a soup spoon, a T measure). This little bit of tea makes many pots; simply fill the maker reservoir and brew another pot. I'll buy more when my 8 oz. runs out, but that'll be a while because 8oz is a large bag.

Nice but only steeps once
A nice flavorful white tea. Unlike other white teas I've tried, this one is only worth steeping one time. It is very reasonably priced for a white tea. I would buy it again.
