Let me begin by saying," that I spent over a Week researching for a Shredder for my Home that would make life much easier." There are a few things about this Shredder that really make it a great value over many. For starters, it offers a Micro Cut for under $1000.00 which is really unheard of in this size. Most MC Shredders at a P-5 start at way over $1000.00. Secondly, it is a decent size and can easily fit in a Home with little or no problem. It also has convenient storage built inside for Oil and for Bags and the Manual. Be warned, it's VERY heavy and was delivered to my house by a 3rd party Logistics Company! You will need help with it unless you are a super strong Person. I have already shredded easily over 100 Lbs of Paper and it works wonderful. Motor gets a little warm after about a half an hour, but it is designed to shred as much Paper as you can place in it without needing a cool down time like cheaper ones. I would gladly recommend this!

This shredder works very well! Because of its ability to run continuously and and it's high capacity, I can securely (micro-cut) shred more documents in two hours than I could in a few days with my old shredder. If you do much shredding, this is worth the extra expense!

We have a small office with a lot of sensitive information to shred and this machine is fantastic! It runs quietly, the shred size is small, we can get a lot more pages shredded than our last machine in the same amount of time, the safety features are great and it doesn't jam! It even chews up CDs, credit cards and staples. The bin size is very generous and we do not have to empty it as often. The only slight downside is that not all of the micro shreds end up in the bin. The indicator light alerts us as to when it's full, but when we open the door, there is a lot of static which causes pieces to stick to the interior and the bin and pieces fall out onto the floor. Other than that aspect, we would suggest this product to other businesses. We hope to get many years of use out of this machine.

I purchased this shredder because of it having the ability to shred for a longer time than most shredders. I used it for more than an hour of continuous shredding without a problem. Micro cut, jam resistance, security and more compact shredded output are other nice features. The machine is well built It is heavy 97 lbs but moves easily on it,s casters. I would purchase it again if needed.

This shredder weighs approximately 93 lbs. It microshreds 14+ pages at once. According to Fellowes, the machine should be oiled at least two times per liner bag used and should be run in reverse for about a minute or two. This is a superb shredder, and effortlessly completes heavy duty jobs including CDS and gift cards in a fraction of the time of conventional home shredders. I am very happy with this purchase direct from Amazon.

Its a great shredder. The resultant microcut is excellent. However, the continuous run shuts off too soon. I also have a Fellowes 20Ms, and what a difference the extra 2 or 3 seconds makes in the continuous run feature before it shuts off. The 225Mi shuts off too soon, and its a hassle to get it going again. And of course as others have noted, the bin is indeed junk.

This is a small office and meets our expectations for a very useful tool. Machine runs quietly. Very pleased with the quality. The only thing I can say negative is that the waste bin should be more durable, not a paper box.

Expensive compared to consumer-grade models, but is the least expensive continuous duty model that I could find. Seems to easily shred everything I throw at it, and never stops working -- at least, until the bag is full of confetti and you have to change it out. Don't waste your money on those cheaper units -- they're just cheaper, and they're not worth the money you're spending on them. This one is the one you want to buy, unless you need an even larger heavier-duty model.

Es grande, potente y silenciosa. Me ha parecido una trituradora formidable. Tenía mis dudas sin embargo ha superado todas y cada una de mis espectativas. Es una trituradora profesional que funciona perfecto para una oficina pequeña, donde se necesite destruir realmente documentos. Viene en caja muy grande, requiere 2 personas para desembalarse. Es muy pesada. Una vez afuera y nivelada uno se da cuenta del tamaño de estas cosas, donde se convierte en un mueble prácticamente. En cuanto a los materiales de construcción. Estos son buenos, se siente de buena calidad. Muy en la línea de las trituradoras de la marca. Tiene controles "resistivos" es decir; sensibles al tacto. Lo cual me ha gustado mucho. Tiene modo cerde, por lo que no la necesitas apagar ya que se apaga sola y muy rápido. Eso si, debes volver a encederla en el panel principal. Tiene una puerta en el frente y adentro va un bote de basura donde cae el papel triturado. En la puerta tiene 2 recovecos para acomodar un bote de aceite y otro para bolsas de basura. La puerta es magnética y si está abierta no va a funcionar. Tiene cuatro ruedas para que se pueda mover con mucha facilidad. Un punto que no me encantó es que el bote de basura que viene incluido es de cartón corrugado. ¿Por qué no poner un bote de plástico? Triturado. En cuanto al triturado y esta es la parte que me ha dejado satisfecho. Es toda una devoradora de papel. Triturar se ha vuelto menos tedioso. Esta trituradora es de ALTA SEGURIDAD. Quiero decir que el papel triturado no lo hace ni en confetti ni en cross cut. Literalmente casi lo deshace, haciendo imposible recuperar documentos. Tan solo por este punto esta trituradora vale la pena y se lleva la medalla de oro. Es rápida, es silenciosa hasta cierto punto, es muy efectiva. El manual dice que se recomienda aceitarla cada que se vacíe el cesto de basura. Shreds most of my junk mail, letters, bank statements and anything else. Also shreds boxes and packaging, sometimes you need to cut things down so they will fit through. Then the shreddings make good chicken bedding.

I think it is a great machine, but when I got it both casters were broken. I emailed the company but never heard back. Good thing the shredder we were replacing was the same one but from 5 years ago so we used those casters.
