Led Zeppelin The Definitive Biography: Led to Gold 1967 - 1989

Not bad, but a very one dimensional read
This is a cheaply produced book with a flimsy cover and a fair few typos and weird bits of formatting, though not enough to really affect its readability. Content-wise, it's interesting and does a good job of giving some insight into the recording of Led Zep's albums and career arc. However, the author's clearly a massive Zep fanboy with links to the group and as such it often strays into sycophantic worship or defence of any other critics' criticism of the group. Fair enough, I love them too, but a more even-handed exploration of them as a cultural phenomenen would sustain interest more than this relentlessly rose-tinted account.

Fantastic Led Zeppelin book
Well-written, informative, easy to read, and had the approval of the band so is an accurate and legitimate telling of their story..

Old Book, New Name
My bad... I should have simply compared the table of contents to my most recent copy of this book. If I had, I would have discovered that they are one and the same (1974, 1993, 1999).
