After getting the Little Tikes table & chairs set and being perfectly satisfied, we decided to try them again with this when we were searching for some kind of toy box for our son. We were glad we did.No assembly required - it's ready for use right out of the box. The storage inside is deep and can really hold a lot of toys - though it's probably recommended that only bigger toys be put inside as smaller ones can be "lost" inside. The drawers/bins on the bottom are more meant for the smaller items. Most importantly the chest is durable - not one crack, scratch, or hole in the years we've had it. Our son has removed his toys and even used it as a little fort at times. Easy to clean and worth it.I read the very few 1-3 star reviews and don't agree with them. Yes, the lid doesn't attach, but goes back far enough as to not pose a threat. If your child is 2 years old, they really shouldn't be using the lid to begin with or playing with this unsupervised - really, it's common sense for any parent. We bought this when our child was 3 and a half and he never had a problem with the lid. The lid not attaching is fine, because you then have a choice whether you want a lid or no lid. I prefer it this way than to deal with a hinge that could break or can snap shut. And as far as that one review in which they complained about the drawers/bins not aligning - it's a toddler's furniture and my son (and the majority of others it seems) don't have problems with it. Also if you don't like the colors, look at the picture before buying it. To us, quality was better than the colors and this product does have quality.Durable, easy to clean, and light enough for parents to move it - like other Little Tikes products we have purchased, this is well worth the money because it does the job and will last you.

Good size, came already assembled so I just had to take out of the box. My 3 y.o can reach to the bottom (it actually fit him inside with room to spare haha. He just had to go inside.) no problem.

This toy box is big and is perfect. It holds bigger toys and oversized stuffed animals without a problem and still has room. I originally bought a regular Disney themed wooden toy box where I found just 1 oversized stuffed animal or a few Vtech or Fisher Price toys would fill it out, leaving all kinds of toys left behind with nowhere to go but the floor. Big disappointment. This one takes up a little more room but fits so much more than other boxes that you would think that it would be way bigger to fit all those toys but it doesn't. It is easy to use (I bought it for my son at 16 months) and the lid is not heavy and can't pinch his fingers. The lid is also not secured so you don't have to worry about them getting stuck inside if they choose to climb in it. It's made of durable plastic that will withstand even rough toddlers. There are two bins on the bottom great for smaller toys that you don't want to get lost in the bottom of the big compartment, which is handy for little action figures, cars, and books. It has rounded edges so you don't have to worry about your little one falling and hitting their head on a corner like regular wooden boxes. And one of the best parts was the price on Amazon. Toys R Us wanted close to $100 for this. At the time I paid $65 for this, and I had spent $50 on the small, useless Disney one that I totally regret buying. This toy box is well worth the money as it provides adequate storage and peace of mind.

Love this toy box. It stores so many toys and I like the bins underneath to store smaller toys. My son absolutely loves it!
