Easy and clean way to make cold brew coffee
These are easy to tie and dispose of. To get a cup of grounds in requires compressing them with a spoon (non-compressed I think it holds about 3/4 cup of grounds), and I did hear one filter bag start to rip open when I packed it too hard, but it didn't actually split and having learned that lesson, I have no issues using them. I'd definitely recommend these.

Great value until the price doubled
Perfect for the tub teas I'm making as gifts. Nothing leaks out even when I hold upside downIt's just unfortunate that 2 weeks after buying them the 1st time the price has now almost doubled :(

~* SURPASSED EVERY EXPECTATION *~
I had high expectations but didn't anticipate any miracles; I was ecstatically proven wrong because THESE ARE AMAZING!!!!!! I love cold brew, but the premade pouches are expensive and I only found 1 single brand of pouches that never disintegrated... where as the numerous other brands had varying degrees of disintegration. Let me tell you, trying to sift grounds out of your coffee is frustrating and kudos to those who have the time and especially patience to filter with cheesecloth, but for me, it ain't happening. These pouches are simple and easy to use... just cinch closed and loop around a few times beneath the top where it's cinched, pull the string through one of the loops, leave a little length of string to close in the lid and voila, totally secure. It's a HUGE benefit to be able to switch flavors and varieties of grounds without having to spend a small fortune. Plus, the weave is tight so it's not necessary to have your beans coarse ground in order for them not to seep out. The bags have no scent, don't leave any type of flavor, and DO NOT DISINTEGRATE!!!I've converted my entire family into making their own cold brew at home using these bags... even those who loathe iced coffee. The smooth, rich flavor, completely free of acidity (which comes from brewing coffee with heat)... cold brew is heavenly!!! And it feels like a lavish luxury but with these bags it's no more expensive than brewing a pot using filters and definitely not as pricey as those individual little cups. I'd recommend these specific bags a million times over!!!*If this review was informative please hit the helpful button below.

Great product for less money and also a way to prepare the bags for later use
I was skeptical about getting 120 of these brewing bags for about $2 more than I was paying for another brand's 30 bags per package. These work just as well and save me money. If you use regular grind, put in one cup of grounds, place the bag in a one-quart canning jar, gently fill it with water, letting it pour on the bag to help the grounds become saturated and close the lid for a minimum of 24 hours. If you use the recommended coarsely ground coffee, use the same procedure but steep for 12 to 24 hours. Rather than let the tie string hang outside the lid, I leave it in the jar so that the coffee doesn't saturate the string and drip on your kitchen counter. The bag floats and I haven't yet had any of the grounds float out of the bag. I also keep a thin plastic glove to squeeze the bag when the brewing time is up to get all the liquid out of the bag. Afterwards, rinse the glove and keep it in an open plastic bag for the next cold brew batch. Since the brewing bag is biodegradable, you can safely throw it in the garbage or the compost pile. Because the brew is concentrated, I fill my cup about 3/4 full then add some milk and creamer. The coffee is strong enough to jump start you for the day. Enjoy. It's now January 9, 2020 and I wanted to make this process even easier. What I've done is to fill about 10 bags with the coffee grounds and put the bags in an air-tight ziplock bag. I store the bag in the freezer until I need it. It's like having a box of tea bags. It makes the process so much easier!

Super tea/coffee bags for large amounts
These are great for large brews of coffee or tea. I use for hot tea, sun tea, cold brew coffee, and blending loose teas (e.g. roobios with mint). Very sturdy, good flow, good price, superior packaging.Hint on cold brew coffee, for 64 oz & larger, I use two bags and split the coffee, to ensure good flow thru. With tea it doesn't seem to matter as much
