Otc 3398 Fuel Injection Pulse Tester

I have used it for troubleshooting injector, it helped me to discover faulty injector before installing in vehicle. Satisfied with the product.

Hooked ip to car as per instructions, 1 light lit up but wouldn't activate injector. Flimsy tool .

My husband is extremely happy with this OTC Tester! He said it does everything it is supposed to do. It works very nice, it seems to be a very high quality, and it has already been an extremely helpful item for him! He was sad that it is made in China, but he said the quality seems to still be great for OTC. He does think that for the $100+ price, it should come in a case to keep it safe as it is a bit delicate to be loose in a toolbox drawer. I'll be looking online to see if I can find him something to put it in. Any ideas from the other buyers here?

This is an excellent tool for those who want to diagnose a defective fuel injector, or bench test a replacement prior to installation. Many times I found that replacement fuel injectors become stuck by sitting on the shelf at the parts store. Nothing worse than installing injector(s) on a vehicle, still having the same problem, going crazy thinking something else is wrong & wasting more time & money replacing other parts.... when all along you got burnt installing a bunk injector. For this reason, I ALWAYS bench test any injector I replace on a vehicle. Doing a job twice is no fun. This tool is very easy to use. Simply connect the power leads to a 12 volt car battery, hook up the injector, select the pulse width, and press the button. If the injector clicks, you know you're good to go! If it doesn't click, you likely have a stuck injector & you'll have to call the parts store to get another one.
