Not what grampa was looking for. He said that there was too much unwanted noise. Example: just walked and having it rub on your clothes and hearing all that noise.

the ear pieces did not work too well. the sound goes from side to side between working and not working,they hurt my ears, they will not stay in my ears, and they do not have a good sound.

I'm a former Electronics R&D Technician. I've been looking for a STEREO amplifier with headphones, for the movies, because I'm about 35% hearing impaired and they turn the volume down too low at the theater.I've been going around and around with these people for WEEKS now, and getting weird answers. IS this STEREO or NOT?So they said they would hook me up with their new head guy today, and he said:"The short answer is that the directional microphone is single source. Itamplifiers the environment and then sends a signal to the stereo output whichsplits the signal into right and left channels for stereo listening onheadphones.This is a common set up. I believe that the SuperEar will work very well for thetheater circumstance that you describe."I replied that, this sure sounds like a monaural mic, and amplifier, driving stereo headphones, so it could NOT be STEREO!I'm STILL looking for a STEREO amplifier and headphones for the movie theater.Note: I tried the ones that Cinemark offers their hearing impaired customers, but they keep being shut off, in the middle of movies and I suspect that they don't really want people using them, but want the image that they offer them, otherwise they wouldn't be shutting them off all the time.

This is way over priced for what it is. Would not recommend it because of that. It works ok and it is better than the $15 other one I have but not that much better. Certainly not worth the difference in price.
