This is by far the most effective pool cleaning tool for above ground pools, and I highly recommend it.I have a 15’ above-ground pool between two post oaks, and skimming just doesn’t cut it. I took a change on this $36 vacuum, and it was money well spent. It uses water pressure from a standard water hose to kick up the tiniest debris into the net, and does so very well.In about 5 minutes, the floor of my pool is free of dirt and debris. Another 5 minutes skimming the floating debris at the surface surface, and the pool is spotless. What once took 30-45 minutes is now accomplished in 10-15.With 4 snap-in parts, The assembly is quick and simple. The ONLY issue is that the net retaining ring is a very tight fit, and is not the strongest of plastic. Just take caution when finagling the ring into place. Aside from that, this is a top-notch product.

The white ring is close to impossible to get on. I had to push the side lip of white ring in with a butter knife and use a rubber mallet to hit it in place at the same time. THAT WAS TRICKY. If you do this be careful not to break it. The placement of the handle attachment needs to be at least 2 inches away from the hose inlet to assemble the handle and pin. The pin was already in the handle attachment on the wrong side ,the side closest to hose inlet. I had to pull pin out ,hoped not to break it and put it through the other side. This does not come with instructions. With the white ring being too big some ppl wont be able to figure out how to put it together. The mesh bag came split at the seam .I didnt even put the bag on yet when i saw the bag was coming apart.

I wish I would have read more reviews, the white plastic ring that you need to attach the net is made way too big and you cannot put it together, it makes no sense why they have not fixed that defective flaw with this product. Had to return. Got a replacement and had the same problem with that one too.UPDATE: The company Reached out to me asking how they can make things better and gave me a full refund and is looking to make this product better. I would given them 5 stars for customer service.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I had lots of leaves in my pool because the cover came up during the winter. I had scooped a lot of them with the net. Next, I tried to vacuum and it did not go well. The leaves kept stopping up the hose. I was frustrated, and then I found this on amazon. I hooked it up and it got all the leaves! So easy to use and a great price. It does not pick up small debris and dirt, that is what the vacuum is for. After getting all the leaves, I vacuumed and my pool looked great. I definitely recommend this if you have a leaf problem.

We got this for a large fish pond with a river rock bottom. The wheels roll nicely over the rocks & it sucks the leaves off the bottom into the bag. The bag is large enough to hold a lot of leaves.

Unfortunately I can't comment on the quality or how great it works because I can't even get the ring on where the leaf bag goes in order to use it. I will see if somebody else can get the ring on for me and they also put the pin on the wrong side of the handle so not sure how I'm supposed to get the handle on. If they had this all put together that would be amazing but if I can get this together I will come back with another review. I will probably have to return it

I use it for inflatable pool. Connected with sub pomp 1000 gal/h . It needs to run about 3 hours to clean up 170 gallons of water. I had to put this vertical so it could pick up leaf's floating on the surface. Just be carefully with the net IT COMES OUT TOO EASY. I couldn't find anything what collected trash floating so I created my owns project, but I know not everybody will be able to do it. This leaf sucker definitely should comes with the pre filter .

these hose end pool vacs work amazingly well , especially in uneven above ground pool floors... In the past I purchased them, from walk in stores, but they seem sold out lately- so ordered through Amazon. Quality of plastic leaf vac is excellent & its easy to fit the hose adapter BUT three men , including an engineer, were unable to fit the RIGID white plastic rim ( holds the net) into the rigid blue plastic body because both parts were the SAME circumference & there were no directions toward a solution- the geometry just didn't work.. Unfortunately there was no way to adjust both rims without damaging the product & its baffling why the manufacturer didn't correct this in production. . The seller was great in refunding the first leaf vac, so I ordered a replacement thinking the rim might be a better fit- NO LUCK. There is a user you tube on fitting the rim but repeated efforts didn't reap any success- AGAIN. so had to return that as well . . Its a great product otherwise-so very disappointed. The ( back ordered) leaf vac I ordered via Lowes did come fully assembled.
