It's impossible to find vegetable steamer baskets in some of the countries I've lived and I finally just ordered this and had someone bring it to me and it worked great (and fits nicely inside luggage if you travel a lot and like to steam veggies.)

Doesn't fit in pot well. Very awkward to use

I don't really like it and when I get around to it, I'll look for another. It fits arkwardly in my pot and those handles which are supposed to interlock, don't stay. It's bearable in the meantime.

Didn't receive advertised metal knife.

Works well with the 6 qt instant pot. Mine did not come with any free items

Unlike Norpro, the handle on this one support the sides so vegetables can be removed without spilling. If the diameter fits your pot its perfect

I got this to use in my electric pressure cooker. I have a regular steamer but I'm always afraid that the metal will scratch the finish on the inside of the cooker.This steamer is very smooth with no edges to worry about scratching the finish. It works great for steaming potatoes and for keeping things such as hotdogs, from the bottom of the pot. It is easy to remove from the pot. I also found it to be easy to clean, either in the dishwasher or by hand.It does not work well certain vegetables such as corn, if you try to make too much. It falls back into the post when you try to lift it out. The sides aren't deep enough to support large amounts. You also need to make sure that it fits well into the particular pot you are using or it falls off the edges. My cooking pots are large, so for those this does not work properly. It does fine in my rounded microwave dishes if I'm steaming a little corn for the kids' lunches.I got this for the purpose of using it in my electric pressure cooker. For that, this serves the purpose very well. It fits in exactly and it works well to steam or to use as a cooking platform for what I am trying to cook. The handles remain cool, even in the pressure cooker.Overall, I recommend this for microwave cooking or for an electric pressure cooker.
