This is a heavy-duty mount with large, knurled adjustment bolts that allow you to perform the final adjustments for a high-gain 620mm diameter dish antenna with ease.However, keep the following in mind: The kit is heavier than the standard antenna mount. The standard mount also makes assembly easier by allowing you to tilt the antenna into the lower bracket for support during assembly. Thus, you can install the standard support bracket hardware to the mast and then add the antenna plus two sets of fasteners for final assembly.By contrast, this precision kit is intended to be added to the antenna before attachment to the mast, which means the combined dish package you have to lug up your mast all at once just got considerably heavier. I can guess why the designers preferred the more secure approach of using 4 fasteners to secure the antenna to this kit but I'm also not looking forward to lugging the assembly onto our roof.

These alignment kits are great. I was able to squeeze a few more db's out of a link I had constructed once I installed these. You can make VERY VERY fine adjustments. Much more fine-grained control than using your hands to move the whole dish.

Dont buy this is a really POS, money wasted. Clamps don't and wont grip any Isolite pipe. Wrong design.

Useless, the bracket that comes with it works fine

These definitely make the RF link much easier to tweak than moving the reflector around in miniscule increments by hand. They are definitely worth the money. Most parts of your inferior factory mount are replaced with this kit.
