The scent is a bit strong from the tea tree oil I believe, and it does go on a bit thick. However, it does soak into the skin and provides a nice matte finish. I have an oily complexion and with this I don’t have to use a primer and it helps set my makeup and keep it on all day. It is now part of my daily skincare routine.

I've been using this less than two weeks and it's cleared up my adult acne the best of any product I've ever tried. I use it every other day at night time after cleansing my face. I just put it over problem areas. It doesn't seem too drying. I also use it as a spot treatment. Using this in rotation with the derma e overnight peel and the vitamin c night creme my skin is glowing and so smooth. I use the peel 2 times per week. I struggle with uneven skin tone,a forehead with tons of texture and what appear to be small pimples that never really come to the surface. My chin area always had 3-5 huge,deep painful zits that would last for days/weeks and leave scars. The peel has really helped the scars and this rebalancing creme has smoothed my fore head and cleared up my chin. It has a slight tea tree smell, but absorbs nicely and doesn't dry skin out.

I have sensitive acne prone skin with an oily t-zone and dryer cheeks. When I tried using this product it burned and stung my face. I tried it a few times because I really wanted to like it (I used up a pump bottle of the matching cleanser and liked it a lot), but every time I use this it burns and stings my face. It is also very unpleasant to put on because it is very thick and almost dry-ish when you try to apply it, so it doesn't soak in very well and if you reapply over somewhere you have already used it, then it sort of balls up and comes off like sunscreen. It did not notice it moisturizing at all, and I think may have made my face drier. Everyone's skin is different so it may work better for someone else, but I would not recommend it. I missed the window to return this so I will probably have to throw it out. I would normally use it up even if I didn't care for it, but this burns too much to use.

I've been using this stuff for years, and I mainly use it in the summer when my skin gets extra oily and breakout-prone. It works well. If you have really bad acne, it won't fix it, but it will definitely help. I've always had oily and acne-prone skin, and this is a moisturizer I always have handy for my kind of skin, and I'm nearly 40! Been using this stuff since my early 20s.

Works well for an oil-free moisturizer. It does dry matte and not shiny. I do fine that it “absorbs quickly” but I have to apply at least 2 layers for my skin to not have that dry tight feeling. Fair warning that it smells AWFUL and musty. Unfortunately I think that is just a natural product of the ingredients and not a defect of the product itself. It lingers for several hours but I do not typically notice it later in the day. Wash your hands thoroughly after, as the smell will transfer to anything you touch while the moisturizer is on your fingers. I have not yet decided whether I will repurchase as I am only a week or two in and have plenty left.

This is a great affordable moisturizer for oily skin. I've read reviews complaining about the scent, but it just smells strongly of tea tree to me which just means it actually has a good amount of tea tree oil in it (which is great for acne). I use a cica serum underneath it when my skin is a bit dry and just on it's own when it's feeling oily. It takes a little bit of time to absorb, but it makes my skin feel soft and fresh.

3 months ago I stopped putting moisturizer on my face because I realized it was causing cystic acne overnight because of sweating (even if I washed And exfoliated my face before going to bed and when I woke up). That seemed to help my problem for a little until my skin became very dry and irritated as the winter set in. I’ve been using this cream for the last 2 weeks at night and it’s really helped with the dryness without a single problem pimple. It has some super hard working ingredients in it without all the harsh stuff. I’m really impressed with how this works to keep my skin clear and moisturized at the same time. It doesn’t do much for existing blemishes or scars but it does a fantastic job at balancing problematic skin like mine. My dry patches and irritation are all but gone completely and my skin feels and looks better in general but the most amazing thing is how clear my skin has been. With no new acne appearing it’s easier to manage the existing blemishes too. Very happy with this, I’ve seen more results than with creams that cost triple the price so I definitely recommend. If you’re sensitive to smells you should know the smell is pretty strong. I don’t mind it though it smells like eucalyptus or tea tree oil - my husband likes it too he says it smells like the spa but it is not a faint smell and it is lingering.

Lovely cream, the smell of lavender and tea tree is strong but it goes away after half an hour or so once it's sunk in. Ive found that it works amazingly as a primer for make up - better so than my actually make up primer. I have stopped using a topical antibiotic for acne and am just using this. I would have expected my skin to get much worse, but it hasn't so I'm happy.

Saved my skin. Been using since my first pregnancy in 2008. I had bad skin mid teens to mid twenties. This along with the problem skin cleanser and spot treatment were the Oonly products that saved my skin from deep cystic acne. I will never change: tried all the expensive brands and nothing compared to this. So good.
