I needed this shelf for my study where I could place some decorative pieces and add a touch of color. It serves the purpose well. The product came properly packaged. They included spare screws and anchors, which was thoughtful and much appreciated. With most wall mounted shelves, the positions of the mounting screws can be a bit of a challenge but it tool about 20 minutes to finish assembly and installation - that speaks to the ease of using this product.Recommended as a light-weight shelf, just don't pile up a lot of heavy books or stone statues on it. The installation guide says 25 lbs on each is the maximum but I did not test it.

This shelf fit perfectly in a small space next to my recliner. The length and width are generous and it sticks out from the wall about 7 inches, which is good as it does not get in the way. It is, by itself, a very durable two-tiered shelf and was easy to put together..I used an electric drill for holes and screws; it made it easier. At present, I have about 15 pounds of weight total on the shelf. Each individual wooden shelf is very sturdy.I tried putting up with the 'screw' type anchors (my preference) included but, disappointingly, they ate the drywall, so I had to use plastic wall anchors. (Not the fault of the seller--sometimes the screw-type anchors eat drywall..depending on drywall type, etc.). I didn't use the plastic wall anchors they gave me, but instead I had some larger anchors which, I felt, were more supportive, though what they supplied would have worked as well. I am glad that there were four attachments to the wall vs two attachments to add more support. Though the anchors worked well, I still wanted to ensure more support so I also bought two wooden brackets (about 5 x 4) and attached to the bottom corners and I also put two square (3 x 3) decorative wooden blocks in the middle underneath each shelf. I attached all of them with contractor's cement. Even without the brackets and blocks, the shelf held well, but the brackets and blocks give more support and they actually improve the look of the shelf as well. Overall, I am pleased with it and it helps improve space and storage more neatly.
