Can it be connected to a flatscreen tv ?

Absolutely! I purchased this item for my boyfriend and with the correct cord he was able to connect it. He has commented that the image quality isn’t very good on a large screen, but is better on a smaller tv. I believe he used an hdmi/usb cable.

Everything works great Bought it plugged it to test it as it is a gift. Everything seems to work great read the game fine, controller worked fine, worked with the extra controller and memory card I bought separately, was expecting something to be a miss with it being a 20 year old console but I have no complaints. Thank you very much

The console works perfectly fine and was delivered quicker than expected. It also came with the 2 games (both I will never play) and a 3rd disc inside the console which I'm guessing shouldn't have been there, but I'm not complaining. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it was missing a lead from the power adaptor to a wall socket and the 8mb memory card. Luckily I had a spare lead to plug in and get it working. I did contact the seller and they delivered the missing contents, and another game for compensation, the next day
