Majestic Royal and Langnickel Short Handle Paint Brush Set, Round, 7-Piece

I have other brushes from this brand that are my go-to brushes but I bought these mainly because they're black - it's a guy thing. I can't say these are up to the same standard as the others. The #8 doesn't hold its shape and several have a little bends to the tips that I haven't been able to straighten. Started to send them back but decided to keep them for practice brushes and for dirty work.

Three of the brush tips split after two uses and are not useful for my face painting. To be clear, I know how to properly use and clean them. I would purchase them again for my kids to play with if they were more inexpensive, but will choose another brand for face painting.

They seem to be keeping their shape

I love these brushes. The bristles are fine, full, and round, and they hold a lot of water and paint. One of these has became my all-time favorite brush for watercolor.

I really like these brushes. I have been trying different brands and I think I will keep these. They hold the paint well.

This Roayl Brush set was just what I expected and am very happy with them.

These brushes were recommended as excellent for face painting however the bristles are uneven and not tapered properly. I've tried washing them well in proper brush cleaner and also tried using boiling water from the kettle over the tips to reshape but no luck. Irregular and spiky ends so you can't get an even controlled flow from the paint when trying to taper off and draw fine lines. Very disappointed to have bought the whole set!
