Is this item a genuine Oster replacement part?

I spoke with Oster on this. If it comes inscribed "Oster" on the part, then it is Oster, if not it is a knock off. the knockoffs will fit but may have non food grade lubricant and less robust seal meaning they will leak some bad stuff into your smoothie or blended drink. Just make sure what you get is etched with "Oster" and if not send it back and insist on shipping costs for false product. there are several sellers here and some maybe selling non oem knockoffs

will this fit my Osterizer 10 speed blender No.869-18S?

It works very well on my very old 841-J 10 speed. I believe there are only two types of blades for Oster blenders. If the picture matches your blades, the chances are very good it will work OK. Otherwise you can buy it at ACE for $17 and get an easy return (like I did, before I tried Amazon).

I got a knock off from Aza Mart which leaks like there's no tomorrow. . Is "Oster" inscribed on the blade base?

So I 10 year ago I choose this brand because I had enough that I cant have replacement parts for other shakers. With the blade the only thing is, that you should not put it in the dishwasher machine, because that something happens the sealing inside, and it lets the liquid thru the blade. Don't do that, wash it with hand, than it just works.
