Corkscrew works very well - foil cutter needs practice
Have had a Brabantia trash can for 13 years and have been very impressed with quality, durability and easy use. The Brabantia corkscrew is a little different in appearance and has a different mechanism to most old school corkscrews. First time I used had trouble removing the foil and had to use my old WMF foil cutter. The corkscrew worked perfectly. Second time - got the foil cutter to work and the corkscrew worked like a charm. Only concern going forward is whether the plastic will be durable. Bought a spare to be on the safe side.

Sencillo, sólido y sin sorpresas
Producto claramente orientado a la funcionalidad, sin añadidos ni diseños llamativos, perdí el que había comprado hace un par de años y no he dudado en repetir porque me gustó. El mecanismo es suave y permite extraer el corcho sin esfuerzo excesivo ni tirones, incluso en botellas con corchos algo más duros. El cuerpo de acero transmite buena sensación de resistencia y el acabado negro es discreto, fácil de integrar en cualquier cocina sin destacar en exceso. No tiene palancas dobles ni sistemas avanzados, pero tampoco los necesita. Cumple su función de forma directa y fiable. El agarre es correcto y no da sensación de fragilidad, aunque no es especialmente ergonómico si tienes manos grandes. En conjunto, es un sacacorchos honesto y bien construido, pensado para quien quiere algo duradero y práctico sin complicarse. No pretende competir con modelos profesionales, pero para uso doméstico regular cumple perfectamente.

Easy to use and fast
Easiest corkscrew opener I have come across. Very safe, low chance of injuring yourself. No need to apply much force to pull the corkscrew out. All you do is put it on top and keep turning the knob. The corkscrew first drills into the cork and then automatically pulls it out as you keep turning.
