A large warm blanket great for swaddling babies.

I received one of these swaddle blankets with my first baby over 15 years ago. 6 babies later it is still my favorite swaddler. We are having our 8th baby in the spring and I plan on buying a new one to just have an extra around. Flannel is the best for grip when you swaddle and these are nice and big so you can wrap them all the way around the body and still let the bottom of the blanket lay open for their little legs to lay flat. They are flannel so they are warm which is best for winter babies in full clothing but just perfect for newborns in lighter clothing in a warmer climate. Perfect for summer car seat blanket as well. I always gift these and recommend. I have tried the bambo swaddlers and jersey swaddlers and these are just the best for swaddling.

Don't let the price turn you off, these are some of the nicest quality, not to mention largest, swaddle blankets you can buy! We own two; after my baby got too big to swaddle, we noticed that he still liked to hold them and bury his face in the soft cotton. Now, his favorite one is his security blankie!PROS: 100% cotton that gets softer as it's washed. Size - They're HUGE which makes secure swaddling a breeze (swaddling instructions are printed right on the tag so you never forget). Warmth and breathability of the natural fabric. Lots of cute designs. Large enough to use as a car seat or stroller cover. Big and snuggly enough to offer as a blankie when they're outgrown!CONS: Price, unfortunately. They're also maybe too warm sometimes, depending on the temperature of baby's sleep area (I wouldn't wrap them up if they're wearing footie jammies).One of these blankets would make an excellent gift if you don't buy one yourself! Highly recommend!

This blanket is extremely warm, great for winter. But it doesn't give at all - no stretch. Baby kind of looks like she's in a straight jacket. We stopped swaddling with it and now use it as a blanket. Much better purpose.

I love the receiving blankets at the hospital. But my newborn daughter quickly outgrew it. I bought this one and it is so much better than the muslin blankets because when it’s too stretchy it can get loose easily and it becomes a suffocation risk. They insulate heat really well. I swaddle my baby and the swaddle stays wrapped. Oh did I mention they’re like extra large? It’s awesome!

This is the perfect blanket. We’ve bought many and I will continue to buy them!! They’re snuggly without being stuffy, we used them to swaddle our newborn and now that he’s older he sleeps with it in his bed. I used it as a nursing cover and it was stiff enough that it didn’t fall on his face even with his constant wiggling. They wash really well and haven’t stained even with blowouts. They fold up small enough to stuff in a diaper bag but are large enough to cover even a big baby! They’re also cheap enough I don’t worry about them getting ruined!! My one complaint is the big tag with swaddling instructions. I always seem to get that part by his face. Every time. They’re easy enough to remove but it would be nicer if it was just a bit smaller!

While these receiving blankets look identical in photos to the blankets you could get prior to 2020, they are not. This receiving blanket is probably half the thickness. If you are looking for ultra lightweight, this would be your piece of cloth, labeled as a blanket. But if you are looking for a regular receiving blanket, this is not it.

Great blanket. I had ten pounds babies that broke out of swaddle blankets like King Kong out of chains. 🤣 this blanket kept my ginormous babies swaddled for many months. Also great to wrap Them up while waiting for the doc in the office for visits when you undress them to their diaper and they freeze. Great as stroller cover. You name it. It’s my go to gift for any new mama or daddy.

These swaddle blankets are the best! Large, soft and super cute! On occasion I still swaddle my 9 month old using these. I have started giving them as gifts to new Mama's because I can't imagine not having one for my son.

Not used yet, but this is such a lovely swaddle for a much better price than many others on the market! Comes nicely packaged so great if giving as a gift, but also feels nice and soft and will be great for when baby arrives

Just what I was looking for to layer up my little one when she’s born in February! A thick layer of cotton and soft, will do the job !
