Absolute "must have” if you finish in the space you sand.
As an amateur furniture refinisher, I’m always sanding, so I picked up the Oneida Air Systems Dust Deputy to manage the airborne dust. It works fantastically and has completely stopped my shop vac from clogging. My setup is simple: I attached the Dust Deputy to a 5 gallon metal can from a previous fence stain project. It maintains great suction, and the bin takes a long time to fill. A great side benefit is that I can now easily collect and reuse the sawdust for patches and glue ups to ensure a perfect stain match. The dust reduction is incredible, I'd estimate it at about 85-90%. I used to have to sand outdoors or spend hours cleaning the garage before applying a final finish. Now, I just clean the immediate area and I'm ready to go. If you're a hobbyist who sands in the same area where you finish, this is an absolute "must have."

Muy util, lo compre para una lijadora y me tiene bastante contento, evito estar utilizando bolsas para aspiradora cada que esta se llena y solo me preocupo de tirar lo que se acumula en el bote donde tengo este separador. Excelente opcion para talleres.

This Cyclone works Great
The system works pretty good. It is ease to install the cyclone. I bought the simple kit so no hoses or adaptors so needed to acquire those. The unit collects the big shavings from the planer excellent! I have not tried it with the sander of Chop Saw yet but it looks promising. At this point I am VERY IMPRESSED with this bit of kit. I saw a Video comparing this to unit to others and they classed it as Number One and I would agree. I think it works Outstanding and I would recommend it. Update: I connected the Cyclone Separator to my Mitre Saw (Chop Saw) and it worked great. I did not find any saw dust in the vacuum container. Very Impressed
