Sure-GripSuper Cushions

I bought these as well as the cone shaped ones for my roller derby skates. The ones I had were stock and very stiff. I went with the purple as I still wanted something a bit stiff so I didn’t go from rock to jelly. These are perfect. My skates are much more responsive and much easier to turn and I have great support. They fit my Riedells because they have Super Grip plates. Remember if you’re going to switch to the cone type you should also buy new washers for the plates specifically for the cones.

I specifically bought these cushions when I saw a review saying that a customer was not happy with the purple cushions because they looked black. My skates are white and black and I didn’t want a bright purple color showing. So they are perfect in color for me.Note: Red, and yellow will definitely be seen.Now on to do the work. IMO it’s the first thing you should do to a brand new pair of skates being their under $20. Probably the most cheapest, and effective upgrade to your skates. You will definitely feel the difference and mobility as soon as you lace up.Update: Purples ended up being too much movement for my weight. Got red ones on mine now, and gave the wife the purple ones. Put them on her Boardwalks. She loves them over the stock cushions.

I got these for my Moxi beach bunnies. I’ve only replaced half my cushions as I’m waiting for replacement cup washers to arrive. The original (gray color) cone washers are still on as you can see in the last photo. Already it’s made my skate more effortless and responsive when turning.I got the yellow ones based on other reviewers’ reco. I’m about 130lbs (59kgs).They are a little shorter than the stock cushions — the boot/kingpin is a few mm closer to the ground. Clearance is a little less than a pencil diameter on 57mm wheels and a little more on 62mm wheels.

Made my ride so smooth. I was riding on 20 yr old, dead, black cushions. The purple cushions made turning so easy. Makes dancing so much more fun. Best upgrade I've made to my skates so far.

Order came quickly and really changed the game for feeling/using my edges well. Derby coach recommended this simple upgrade for my skates, and it was well worth it. I am 5’5”, 130lb and these yellow cushions seem to do the trick! (I appreciated other reviewers help to figure out which color to get for myself,)
