Worked well in our old timey house. The Amish gentleman who installed these said they were insanely difficult to install and had to be set back from the end of the door farther than a typical latch and pull. He killed a door learning that the hard way.

Great stuff, price is harsh
Great product. Works really well. Only 4 stars because the price seems a little ridiculous. I bought the lumber, stain, glue, and everything else to make the barn door myself, for less than this cost. LOL. But it serves it's purpose well and looks good.

Very cool!
Heavy duty and very industrial looking . . . kind of rustic with the hammered look. I love it!! These will work great on the back side of our barn door. ( I actually didn't use the latching mechanism, must the pulls. :)

Very difficult to install because it doesn't allow for pocket doors to shut since it is slightly raised.
