Didax Educational Resources Easyshapes Algebra Tiles (35 Pieces)

I used this in a summer course re-teaching post-6th graders how to solve for a variable in a one-step equation. It really gets the point across, but I needed 2 packages for many problems I modeled. Pre-Algebra can be super abstract for kids, so I appreciate the concrete model of these tiles. I do wish there were more pieces included in each package. I also wish the pieces were a bit sturdier. I love the 2 colors on each tile to use for positive and negative numbers. I showed my students how to "sandwich" a positive color on top of a negative color to create 0. You can search YouTube to find some videos of how to use algebra tiles in your classroom.

Item not as described. Description says 4x4x4 in. The largest squares are only 2 1/4 in. One of the answers to a question stated that they are the same color on both sides - they are not. Very disappointed.

These are soft and easy to use.

Great quality, not great quantity.

I didn't realize the set was made out of foam. It'll do for one lesson I need it for. I wouldn't buy this particular set again though.
