So Far It's Great
Just got it set up and tried it out. It's super smooth, quiet, sturdy, and you can get a good cardio workout from it. I need hip replacements so for the time being I'm using it with my arms. I'll report back if I have any issues with it but it that's probably doubtful because this machine seems solidly built, heavy, and sturdy. So far I'm very happy with it and I believe it will serve me well for years to come.

A solid, well-built machine
I'm a paraplegic, 46 years post-injury and I was looking for a handcycle that was sturdy enough to challenge me for my workouts. Barring some hugely expensive behemoth that takes up some real estate, this is one you should consider. I carry it on my lap, place it on the dinner table, lock my brakes and go at it. Changing resistance is a breeze, rotate the dial clockwise for more, counter for less. I am used to wheeling through our hilly neighborhood when my wife and I do some cardio, when we're done I'm feeling it. Put in a quarter hour with some real resistance and you are getting plenty of benefit. Period. The rubber grips on the legs hold the unit well, only some minor slipping when hitting it hard. It comes with a sturdy strap that you can affix to a heavy object, which will make any sliding negligible. This isn't some flimsy toy that you will soon break, I heartily recommend it.

ADD TO CART!!! Right Now!
This is by far the best ergo-meter I have ever used. I have had 4 rotator cuff repairs (next one I get a free toaster from the Surgeon). This machine is so smooth it makes you want to use it more. Nearly silent. Weighs almost enough not to have to strap it down when you really get into it. You can use it and position it to work other areas of the shoulder. I have used 6 or 7 different type machines over the years and this is better than the PT units that are over $5K.

Make sure you sit up straight and keep your head aligned to get the most out of your workout.
I really like my therapy trainer! It doesn't slide like others I've tried. I use it for my arms everyday to tone. Looking forward to seeing the outcome! Worth the money I paid for it!
