Will these protect wires from chipmunks chewi???

hah, friend, it is interesting question, i am not sure how big is the lethality from the chipmunks, but i am sure, our product is high quality and protect your wires well.

What is the actual length of these boots?

already installed , but about 6 inches . they cover plug and boot

do thick msd wires fit thru these? I believe 85mm

They will not fit over my msd 8.5mm wires ends. I just removed the boots on the distributor end, put the sleeves on then put the boot back on. Some silicone spray really helps.

I've seen mixed answers on this, which end should be at the plug itself?

Depends on the shape of the plug boot. Mine are 90° angle so the metal ring end would not fit over them. Had to use the sewn side down to fully protect the plug boots.

Worth the protection.

Highly recommend these. They work amazing and they’re nicely priced. I left a seller review for ball joints I ordered. And somehow it ended up on shinehome’s review page. Not sure how in the world that happened but the review written was meant for a completely different seller.

Couldn't install on pre-assembled wires

They do what they are supposed to, but they dont fit over the boots on my MSD 8.5mm wires. If you crimp the wires yourself, you could slide these on first and they work fine. Wires will still melt if resting directly on a header.

Quality parts

Haven’t gotten them installed yet. Just put my engine in and hooking everything up. Wires appear to be of very good quality. Shipping was fast and packaged well. Because of quality and packaging shipping I would definitely buy from this seller again.
