Marianna Superior Hair Curl Clips Double Prong 80-ct.

I got these to hold my curls in place, and they work quite well! What I do to speed up the curls (instead of rolling and pinning dampi-ish hair, and waiting for them to dry), I curl with a clamp-less wand, and then upon letting the curl go, I roll it up again and pin it in place. I do this all over my head and let the curls cool so then I can take the clips out. I find that the curl lasts a lot longer when I do this, instead of having the first curls already start to un-curl by the time i'm curling the last piece of hair. I rated these 4/5 stars, because they get the job done, but I have to overlap many clips to pin up my hair. They are small, and my hair is very thick. Though on the bright side, there are at least a lot of clips in the package, so if you need to double up, you can.

Love these! The package contains more than I will ever be able to use, but they're kind of like bobby pins in that I'm sure I'll slowly lose one here and there over time. Sole have complained about the pin holding the two clamps being plastic. Yes, it is plastic, but I really don't see how it could so readily break for some users. It's not really put under a lot of pressure to snap so quickly, I haven't had one break yet. And guess what? Maybe that's why the package contains 80! I love them, they're strong. I use them fort curly hair while it's drying, to lift the crown and create more volume.

I attempted to pin curl my very thick hair with bobby pins several weeks ago. It did not go well and sleeping in bobby pins is very uncomfortable. So after my failed first attempt I went online for a better tutorial and saw I needed something like these double prong clips, no bobby pins. I'm so happy I bought these and that I bought them here. The price was right and they exactly what I want them to. I tried pin curling my hair two weeks ago using these clips and I loved the results. I use on a regular basis now.

These don't hold as well as I'd hoped and they can be a little heavy if you use them on small sections of hair, but they're decent at their job and you get a BAJLLION of them per package so all's well that ends well.

These were purchased as a donation for a friend who makes hairbows to give to little girls with serious illnesses. She could not stop raving about the quality of these clips, heavy and sturdy - way beyond anything she's used in the past from other sources. I had comparison checked other sources for double pronged clips, and these turned out to be the better bargain because free shipping resulted in a savings of almost $10 over the next best source.

I ordered these "superior" clips thinking perhaps they would be the all metal clips I wanted for a project. After all, the picture shows a metal clips with a metal pin. As does the box in which the clips arrived.BUT, no. The pin is blue plastic and shifts out as the clip is opened and closed. The spring does feel tight, still I'm not sure these will last very long with the plastic pin.

Saw these at my hairdressers and had to have them! Got them the next day and they were exactly what I was looking for! Work well, and hold your hair in place to make beautiful curls!

There is absolutely nothing "superior" about these clips. It uses blue plastic pins that wobble which makes the clips flimsier than others. My advice is to contact the vendor and ask specifically that the pins be metal. A lot of vendors are unaware of this change because the packaging still pictures metal pins.Contacted the seller a couple of days ago, asking for a prepaid return label and a full refund since there was a material misrepresentation of the item. Have not heard back at all so I'm pretty disappointed on every level.
