Perfect! Easy and quick- no stick
This mold was perfect! The frogs popped right out. None stuck at all. I filled the mold and let it sit in the fridge for 25 minutes. They popped right out. I was very gentle tho since it is plastic because I was afraid it might crack. It never did! I hand washed it and had no issues!

Easy to use
Purchased for a Harry Potter party. Used candy chips from Michael's and they turned out great. Kids were happy.

So easy to use even a muggle can do it!
I purchased this mold to make some chocolate frogs for our Harry Potter themed Halloween party. The mold is durable and super easy to use. I made two versions of chocolate frogs. Since our family is vegan, I used about 3/4 bag of Enjoy Life chocolate chips to make our frogs. I melted the chocolate chips in the microwave and transferred the chocolate into a disposable piping bag to disperse the chocolate evenly. I used a butter knife to smooth the back of the frogs and popped them in the freezer until they set. I recommend using the Colloportus spell, which is used to magically lock the refrigerator door and prevent it from being opened by non-magical means. ( aka the husband and kids) The picture doesn't show how detailed the frogs are, but they came out perfect. I also made several milk chocolate frogs and they came out just as nice. I purchased two bags of milk chocolate wafers from the cake decorating section of a craft store. Each bag was 12 ounces and each bag made 11 chocolate frogs. The frogs pop right out of the mold with no sticking. Cleaning the molds were extremely easy. Basically just rinse with warm soapy water and wipe it down. No magic spell needed. :)Some helpful hints for the muggles.1. Purchase some disposable piping bags because the chocolate is messy and the plastic squeeze bottles are hard to clean.2. Use a tall cup and place your piping bag inside of it, fold the sides over the cup so you can easily pour the melted chocolate in it.3. Don't overfill the piping bag or you'll have a eruption of hot chocolate all over your hands, counter, and anything else that's around you. (ask me how I know) My husband walked in the kitchen and thought I was trying to seduce him with some sexy chocolate play.....I assured him that wasn't the case.4. Carefully snip the end of the piping bag and be prepared for the chocolate to start flowing.5. Have a shelf cleared in your refrigerator or freezer to place the mold so the frogs can set.6 Learn the Disillusionment Charm spell that hides objects....You're family will want to eat all the frogs before the party.Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. There's no need to cast the Evanesco spell, which is used to vanish objects, because your party guest will be sure to do that for you!

I made chocolate frogs with my granddaughters, which went down very well, as they’re big Harry Potter fans. The only slight problem was that they were hard to get out of the mould. We had to dip the mould in hot water to release the frogs.

Flawless + Easy to get out
As our oldest child finished reading the last Harry Potter series, we had a movie marathon watching Deathly Hallows 1 & 2. Of course, I had to go all out. Chocolate frogs were a must and to order them from a brand and reputable name was expensive and did not taste all that great. I decided to look for a way to make my own. I ended up with two choices: silicone molds or this one. After reading reviews, I decided to go with this one and it did not steer me wrong. It was very simple! I melt a whole bag of chocolate candy melts in the microwave and then just poured portions in each frog mold and tapped the tray to level it out and added more if needed. Within a hour, it was solidified and ready to eat. I kind of held my breath trying to get it out of the mold fearing the worst but all of it came right out as soon as I turned it over slightly. Wow! To clean it was effortless. Just some hot and soapy water, done. No scrubbing needed. I had two happy kids and a wonderful movie marathon. Get this if you have a Harry Potter fan!
