For over 30 years, I have been using the original Bond America COOL CORDER to make knitted cord. As mine is wearing out I have been looking to buy another. Very difficult to find. So when this product came on the market, I bought one as it looked exactly like my COOL CORDER. When this product arrived I tried to use it with several types of yarn (that I have previously used in the past successfully) and all failed. The crank mechanism jams and does not turn smoothly. We all know that many products made in China are flawed imitations of quality products. So here is one more example. TRY ANOTHER BRAND!
