A bit heavier than regular flip-glops, but very beautiful and good quality.

I received these flip flops today and at first glance they seemed ok but have been wearing them around the house for a few hours and there really hurting my feet! I have lived out of havaianas for year's and i feel these are copies as iv never had any issues with previous pairs before always found them dead comfy from the off so i shall be returning as im pretty sure these are knock offs !

I can totally understand why people might think these aren’t genuine Havaianas because they ARE a tad heavier than their usual flip flops, but you quickly get used to them and that IS how Havaianas have made them, maybe it’s because they are a bit more of a “evening” flip flop rather than a pool side, every day flip flop.I know they’re genuine because I bought these about 3 years ago in the Gatwick Airport Havaianas store and have loved them ever since! They really wear in nicely and end up being very comfy past the first few wears. I promise.They’d lasted me fine until I annoyingly left them outside a few nights ago and the damn foxes got at them - no flip flop, whatever the brand, can compete with foxes - they are ruthless!So I was chuffed to find them on Amazon and didn’t hesitate to replace them. I truly believe they are the real deal now that I have them on my feet. I’d recommend them to anyone and they are truly such a lovely looking pair of sunny shoes!(I’d recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes, I’m usually a UK5.5 and went for the 39/40 which is UK6/7, but they are a so much better fit than the 37/38 are)

Another year, another pair of Havaianas that haven’t even lasted out the summer. After three years in a row of Havaianas breaking or stretching so much they can’t be worn after a couple of months use, this year I decided to try Ipanema, these were even worse, the front of the sole wore away after a couple of weeks and they looked 100 years old. So I begrudgingly went back to Havaianas, not knowing what else to try and the backing has now come away from the strap after 4 weeks. I’ll have to try and glue it, but for the money, I’d expect them to last one summer. Next year I’ll get 80p Primark ones I think!

These are such a bargain. I previously have bought these for £28-££30. So grabbed these when I saw the offer. I am not disappointed, very happy with my purchase.I prefer this style, the toe bit is slim, so for me that was a bonus. Plus the soles are thicker so to give a sandal feel, and they last longer.I have had these styles for a long time now, and I wear them constantly throughout summer, and warmer spring/autumn months, even wore them every day during 36-39c heat in Spain for 2 weeks, and they last me a good 2 years. Not bad for constant west I think.

I love Havaianas, I just have the misfortune of being right between two sizes the 39-40 is definitely too big and the 37-38 is sometimes just a bit too small, usually I buy the slim logo metallic ones and the size is OK, but these are made a tiny bit narrower and therefore have come up just a fraction too small. Definitely a ladies shoe so best to buy your normal UK shoe size, rather than sizing down as you usually need to with Havaianas.
