TOO SMALL FOR WHAT I NEEDED IT
I think is too small for what people usually buy it for. For outside example, you would think is a "normal" useful lantern size. Its NOT. its for a small garden or a small area that would find it useful for. The circular size is the size of a the BOTTOM of a Mcds drink cup. The pics on these lights are miss leading sometimes if you don't read or put careful attn on the measurement.

Worked for about an hour.
This light was fully functional when I first used it. That was for about an hour. I didn't have it on for an hour continuously, instead I used it intermittently for a total of about an hour while I tested a camera on a Pi 3.When I plugged the light in in later that day, there was no output. Then I saw the lights blink on for a second. Thinking there was a maybe just a simple short in the wires it connections, I checked the voltage at the connection piece in the middle of the power cable, and it registered a solid 12 VDC. I opened the unit up to see if I could find anything that I could probably repair easily.Inside, the power wires are attached to the circuit board with a common harness connection, similar to the ones used with PC cooling fans. The connection was solid, and the voltage was good at the harness as well, so the issue appears to be in the circuit that the lights are mounted on.So far I'm only the second review and I'm also giving it one star, I highly advise people look to different products. This is the soonest I've ever had a product fail that wasn't D.O.A .

Still working after several months of outdoor use. I did have to buy a power adapter separately, though. It gives off enough light that I can clearly see my car in my driveway with it being 6 feet away. It gives off a faint red glow when it's on.

Great for security purposes!
Love these little "IR Floodlights!" Security cam shows bright floodlite area but the area appears dark to the naked eye so it looks for all intents and purposes as if it's still dark!!!! Love it! Bad actors will assume they're unseen when, in fact, on the security monitor they look like they're under a floodlight!!! Highly recommended for back & side yards, alleys, any "hiding" spots, etc.

Great for lighting up pockets my cameras night vision can't reach.
These cover a lot of area, double the area than the larger rectangular ones costing twice the price of these. I sprinkle these where the cameras IR can't reach, these are perfect for that purpose. Make sure you have plenty amps available in you power line, especially if splitting it with other devices / cameras. If you don't know what you need, this is it!

These put out good IR illumination but start to burn out in less than a year. Price was good for the time they are usable.
