BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider Manual

I purchased this because I was told i had to have this edition for my BLS renewal class. Was even told I would not be allowed in the class without it. Guess what? That was a lie. The instructor never once told us to get our books out during the class. She never even made a reference to the book. That being said the American Heat Association is the gold standard when it comes to life support. Having been a nurse for quite sometime I didn't need the book to pass the class, I never even opened it prior to walking in the class. I do think it is essential for newcomers to the medical arena and a great resource. I have owned my fair share of previous editions, just wish i hadn't been hoodwinked into buying this one.

Needed it for school. Still have it to this day. Nice to have to go back to if needed.

very helpful and insightful . slightly expensive could be a little better on the price . the schools in our area recommend this book this itself quite a bit . i would recommend it

This was updated manual which comes out every couple years. Was required for future class

The manual arrived as promised in new condition with my Prime, 2-day shipping account. It's the most current edition BLS book available and gives you all of the information you'll need to be prepared for the course videos, course exams, and skills demonstration. I had no issues with the seller. The product arrived as advertised and in the expected time frame. If the info changes or the edition changes and I need to re-certify, I would definitely repurchase.

Good refresher manual

Arrived wrapped in plastic in perfect condition. The laminated BLS Quick Reference card was included in the book. I didn’t see a storage pouch for the quick reference card anywhere in the manual. That would be the only thing that I would think could be better. Otherwise as of December 2019 this is still the official American Heart Association’s BLS guide and it’s helpful for myself to keep up with my BLS knowledge which is required for my job.

Book is brand new. No bonus pocket cards. Keeping the book because I need it for re-cert and my last owned book from AHA is from 2001..lol. I usually borrow my book from the Cardiac Training Dept. 2015 and greater was the book I needed. This is 2016. I wanted my own this time and didnt want to spend $85 on AHA website.

G2015対応 AHA BLS Healthcare Provider （BLSヘルスケアプロバイダー）の受講者テキスト（英語版）です。 日本語訳版のテキストが出るまで、まだまだしばらく時間がかかるようですので、英語版をドンドン読み進めておいて、日本語訳版のテキストが出たら読み合わせしてみようと思います。 日本語訳版のテキストが出た後も、日本で開催されるG2015対応のBLS HCPコースに英語版のテキストのみ持参で受講することはできるので、ある程度英語が読める方は英語版のほうがリーズナブルでいいかもしれませんね。 このレビューを書いている2016年5月17日の時点では、英語版を用いたG2015はまだ稀有な存在ですけども、日本語訳版がでたら一定のタイミングで一気に切り替わりますからね…。

US$18くらいするはずですが、amazonですとアメリカよりも安く購入頂けます。 紙質は悪いです。絵が見にくいので日本語翻訳版にこの絵をそのまま使用するのはやめてほしいです。pulseとbreathingが同時確認になっているのと、圧迫スピードが速すぎると、リコイルが不十分になることにようやく気付いたようです。プロバイダーコースに参加すると、マニュアルの持参もしくは購入を強要される割には、毎度のことながら翻訳が酷すぎるので、いい加減プロを雇って翻訳して頂きたいです。日本語版は翻訳のクオリティが悪すぎ、高価なので、プロバイダーコースの参加にあたっては、こちらの英語のもののご購入をオススメ致します。
