I have had nothing but good luck with this card
I have bought two of these cards, one from HighPoint and one from eBay.They do take some understanding of the underlying tech.A few things to consider:You need a UEFI BIOS to boot from the drives on this card and another version of the firmware. This is not really a RAID card, in that, there is no XOR operations for parity. RAID 0, 1 and 10 are it.This card has a PLX chip which allows it to see more NVME drives than you might have PCIe slots to install them in.You need good airflow in your case and a PCIe X16 or X8 slot to install this and have it work.

It works - but some issues are unresolved
Yes it does work. Yes it is bootable. But - one caveat: for a bootable array, there are some UEFI contortions which must be done to be able to boot from it. One additional issue is that you MUST disable Secure Boot. I’ve been waiting with our prototype system for promised updates to the firmware and drivers - still waiting. Issue appears to be that they are Not Microsoft Certified.Yes, Win 11 can be loaded without Secure Boot enabled. But I would argue that it is there for a purpose and why have a requirement to disable any security features?Been doing hardware and software RAID for over 30 years and never had issues with Adaptec or LSI/Avago/Broadcom cards.
