Kwikset Compatible Top Pins and 50 Each Bottom Pins Rekey Kit Rekeying Set

These are good if you just need to rekey some kwikset keyed locks and don’t need tools or anything else - there are other listings if you need pins and tools. The only thing to really note is the packaging I received is different than what was pictured here but I received all 325 pins so no issues there.

Needed to rekey the lock cylinder for an Anderson storm door and this worked perfectly.

I had a lock on a new Anderson storm door with a Kwikset deadbolt that no one locally was willing to re-key for me. So, I thought, "what the heck? It can't be that hard". Great packaging - individually stored in small plastic bags. These are very handy because you do not have to measure every pin and store them in a seperate bin. Just put in your bins and use them , No Hassel

If you know the basics of rekeying a lock this is all you need to make 50 new lock and keys. That's a great value.

If you already have all the tools to change a lock, this set of pins is perfect for Kwikset. There are plenty of “how-to” videos online too. I’ve only done single locks so I can’t speak to the top pins but these worked fine for switching out locks for a rental. Please be aware these won’t work for Schlage because there’s not enough pins. Only for Kwikset.

This set of lock pins is exactly what was needed. I used top pins for a lock that was inadvertently disassembled. I also re-keyed two locks so they would match the others in my house. This is a good set of all pins needed to re-key my Kwickset door locks.Also, I used the Kwickset re-key tools which were not included with this pin set. They are available on Amazon and are relatively inexpensive.
