The material used is fine after being built it was steady and assembly was easy I had finished within 4 hrs by myself and would definitely recommend 👌

Love the piece, parts were well labeled, instructions clear. Drill required for setup, hinges dont lay perfectly flat due to the holes being misaligned but the overall look was not impacted, save for a slight misalignment of the doors, but for the price its a very solid piece, very happy to have it in our kitchen.

I was apprehensive when I saw the reviews for this product, but with low price of $250 that is being offered, I knew I wasn’t going to get a something that was Haverty’s quality. However, I am so surprised and ECSTATIC with this product! I am a 29 year old female, and it took me only an hour and a half to put together.I broke 4 of the tiny “F” screws, but only because I got a little buck wild with the drill, so that’s purely my fault and not the fault of the manufacturer. The screws I broke off weren’t detrimental to the build and I was able to finish building the island to be sturdy with no issues.Only two pieces were either labeled improperly or missing a label, but when I conducted inventory before the build I was able to determine where/what everything was. I had no missing pieces. I had no dings or dents or scratches anywhere on the island.I’m giving this product 5 stars because it is exactly what I anticipated for the price, it was easy to put together, I am fully satisfied with the island, and I feel the other reviews are really unfair.

First off, took 2-3 people to put this together. The quality of this kitchen island is so cheap that the price of this product needs to be cheaper. I was mad to have spent over $200 on this product for the wood to split on me at the slightest inconvenience. Also some parts are not exactly measured correctly so it looks a little crooked. The hardware to this barely fit in the wood so honestly getting wood glue or JD welding glue is your best bet to helping keep the sturdy structure of this cabinet. I ended up not using the drop leaf, since it does not easily fold down with the equipment they give you to hold it (either way the drop leaf wasn’t necessary for me)Overall, was not super happy with this. Could have probably gotten something better at ikea for this price.

We really wanted to love this product. Delivery was fast and it arrived in 3days.This product was perfect fit to my needs and price was reasonable.However, I am returning this product and this is such a big piece to handleso I don't want other people have same trouble as us.When I opened up the box, I noticed some scratches and dirty finish (dark glue stain) here and there.Because it is White, it may stands out worse. To be honest, I didn't expect that much still it is acceptable.The main reason for returning is defective screws.I feel like they are not even metal since it breaks so easily like plastic.It is the main screws and we didn't even use the drill.While tightening with hand screw driver, the head keeps on snapping and body remains in the hole.My husband says these screws are so important and it has to be strong enough to hold the weight of the drawer.This kind of thing never happened when we assemble IKEA furniture.Since we lost our trust on these screws, our doubt toward this product grew bigger and couldn't go forward.I wouldn't recommend this product.

They gave me excellent customer service and my only advise to them is better package the items because those delivery people don't care especially heavy items like this, they just throw it.The table itself is well made and pretty sturdy, there are a few flimsy pieces but I'm pretty happy with the result of my purchase.

The island is very sturdy and goes perfectly in our kitchen. We had a little problem with the shipper damaging a piece that the customer service took care of perfectly. I would not hesitate to buy from them again! A++++
