Yes, the Logitech Crayon fits in the pen loop.

How do you remove the case?

Pop the rubber piece loose from the middle of the bottom of the case frame, at the function button. Then gently pull the frame apart, top and bottom pieces. This is how I do it. When you put it back together, make sure the frame pops back into place, closed snuggly all the way around.

Can I purchase my own screen protector? Which one is the best?

You wouldn't need one! It's full coverage and it's a awesome case for protection.
