Viridis Hortus40 x Scotch Bonnet Yellow Chilli Hot Pepper Vegetable Seeds

Overall I am pretty impresed with these seeds, they sprouted really well, and went on to produce edible chillies, as you can see.They have been grown indoors and actually don't get that much direct sunlight so I try to put them outside whenever there is any good sunlight. I am an OK gardener so I am putting any issues down to me and the english summer / my setting. I have probably confined the plants to too small a pot with too many plants per pot but wasn't sure how they would fare. I have some seeds left from the pack and will be much more generous in terms of space etc. next year.Whilst I have only eaten one "ripe" (yellow) chilli it did not have the scotch bonnet flavour - did have heat - not immense but OK, I tried one as a green chilli and it actually did have heat but flavour much as a jalapeno. Will update when I have some more info but great plant and great for the environment.NB growing indoors does lead to little leaf pests which you can spray from time to time with natural pesticides.
