approximately how long does it take to refill the butane gas?

How long does it take to refill or how many uses do you get between refills? It takes maybe 30 sec to refill and you get about 10 brew sessions between refills.

What kind of flame does this give? Is it comparable to the normal Bunsen burner, or is it more spread out?

The flame is more "spread out" than a narrow tube Bunsen burner I recall from chemistry class in college. The flame area is about one inch or 25mm wide. The burner is perfect for its intended purpose of heating a siphon coffee maker although it could be repurposed for other heating/warming uses but the butane capacity is probably too small for extended use - better to get a Jet-Boil type burner with larger capacity disposable tank.

Can this be used under a cona vac pot ?

I would imagine so. After all it’s a siphon brew style coffee maker that uses a flame to heat the water to a boil to brew the coffee. All this thing does is replaces the flame with a stronger more controlled flame.

can I transport this in my luggage on a plane?

I’m not certain but can’t see it’s a problem. You could let it burn out of fuel first so it’s empty. If questioned you can demonstrate it won’t light. I’d give this a go.
