Great Lock
I love these locks. They are great for securing my trailers. This isn’t my first purchase and it won’t be my last. I recommend these to anyone that has a trailer.

Not exactly like my other one
I had another one of this brand until I lost my key for that and had to replace it. This one does. It fit and secure like the other one did where I’m would put it on and then push in the front key area and it would lock it in place. I. Would rather have my old one back or find the model I had before. It’s on a 2” hitch but again does not feel as secure on the trailer.

Would NOT unlock
This lock locked up on me. Fortunately I was at home and not in a far away campground. WOULD NOT release and open . After at least 30 minutes, and thinking how am I gonna cut this thing off, it suddenly popped open. After trying it several more times it still will not open on most try’s.This thing is going in the garbage before I am stranded. Beware of this item

Good news (bad news)
This has worked well for two seasons. Lost the keys so I thought I would ‘just drill it out.’ HAH! First drill bit literally didn’t make a dent. Then I bent the tip of a Craftsman flathead screwdriver trying to wedge a space just a little bit. Multiple (and increasingly larger) drill bits, substantial pounding, prying and a bit of sweat later, I finally got this thing to let go. Nice to know it’s not going to be easy for someone to gain access. The bad news? Now I need a new lock.

Love this product. If your worried someone would steal your camper, trailer or anything with a ball hitch., this product will deterr them. Very secure.
