Mony down the drain. So much info not told about this product till it's too late. Your old keys won't work. It could cost you a fortune to fix the problems this probably will create. Run away from this.

Got the key programmer today and took about 15 minutes total to program my key.Let me start by saying a had a extra key that came with my car (2014 Ford Taurus) that I never went back to the dealership to have programmed.All you do is follow the simple instructions and the key works, I didn’t have to do the other steps to program the buttons either.One of the 1 star reviews says the original keys don’t work after and I believe it says that all keys have to be programmed after the initial programming.This was definitely cheaper then going to the dealer.

Haven't had a functional key fob for my f150 in years. Bought this and had the key cut. And it did start the car after programming it several times. But what it does not tell you that you have to havetwo keys that are already programmed to have the lock and and unlock functions to work.

Niece bought a used Mariner from a by here pay here lot with one key. She didn't know about the MyKey features of the vehicle which limited the radio volume and speed to 80MPH set by the previous owner. This was cheaper than going through a locksmith to get a key cut and programmed. The key does need to be copied to turn the ignition but that was about $20 from the locksmith. The programmer wasn't difficult to use and they even have a video on YouTube showing the process. After everything was said and done. We were able to make the original key an admin key with no limits.

Used this on my 2015 Expedition XLT (Turn key, not intelligent access) when the dealer gave me only 1 key. Added the key that came with the kit, and in another 10 minutes added the key I bought elsewhere on Amazon, and just like that, I had 3 keys! Worked just fine! Now I can install my iDatastart Autostart kit.

Was simple to use after getting key cut at Lowe’s.They usually don’t even charge to do the double cut. Have to find experienced person that knows how to bypass the barcode feature on their key cutter.My application was a 2014 F-350 ( car dealer only had one key), probably saved $100 or more.Thanks.

First you need to cut the key on a local locksmith. Followed the instructions on the user guide for my 2010 mustang GT but both number 6 and 3 settings on the programmer failed to work.Tried other settings then finally number 2 worked. After 10 mins I have a spare key for my car. Programming the buttons worked without a hitch. I'm giving it a 4 star because instructions are not accurate and I don't want the hassle of returning the product. But patience is a virtue indeed.
