Great little guitar
I’ve had guitars for decades of a range of qualities. Got this for my son (and for me to have a little fun too!) and he loves it.It’s a proper guitar in a tiny size. Out of the box the setup was pretty much ready to go - just did minimal adjustments (barely needed to touch the intonation, but did raise the action on a couple of string that were fretting in a few spotsStays in tune very well, and sounds great. Obviously, you don’t get as great sustain but, for the price this is a great piece of kit.Looks great too

Great purchase which looks and sound good!
Very pleased. Because at the discount price, it had in the description 'Condition: Used - Very Good'.That did not mean anything, as apart from the withered packaging box and and the 'sticky stuff' falling off the guitar, there is absolutely no way that this guitar looked or plays as though it has been used. Great purchase which looks and sound good!

Small people of the world - shred to your heart's delight!
I purchased a 'used' return from Amazon so I was expecting there might be something wrong with the guitar I actually bought. There was. I had to recut the nut because the top E string slot was way too close to the side which mean when stopping the string it constantly slipped off the side of the fret board. I'd have thought these things were cut by machine with the spacing set but maybe the machine that cut this nut needs re-setting. At some point I'll replace the nut for a better one but for now it's fine.I originaly also thought there was an electrical grounding issue but it turns out the Infinity R humbuckers are just REALLY, REALLY NOISY! Ibanez put these on all their low end guitars so it's a common problem. None of my single coil pickups hum as loudly as these humbuckers do! Again, at some point I'll replace them with better pickups, which will probably cost more than the guitar did in the first place, but for now I just ignore it.The frets on this Ibanez were actually excellent, it didn't have any fret sprout and they were all level. It has Grover tuners and once the nut was recut and no.10s put on rather than the 9s that were on originally, stays in tune but still bends well. The neck is nice to play and is slim but doesn't feel like a toothpick.I have the world's smallest hands on an actual adult and struggle with a 25.5 Fender 'standard' length scale - I can't actually fret the first four frets at the same time - I have to lift my first finger and shift my hand to get my little finger into the fourth fret. I can just do it on a Gibson 24.75 inch scale length but it's a strain. I can do it on a 24 inch 'short scale' length guitar. This Ibanez is 22.25 inches and I can do it comfortably. Why is this relevant? Because I decided I wanted to shred! This requires you go between notes very quickly and if you're repeatedly having to move your whole hand to get to the right fret rather than just utilise a small finger movement you are NEVER going to be fast enough. And you do have to use the first frets to play scales/arpeggios not just the frets down the dusty end! And no it's NOT just me being 'lazy' and not practicing enough. To highlight how small my hands are I have absolutely no problems playing right at the 24th fret of this 22.25 inch scale fretboard: my fingers are not squished together, they do not overhang and accidentally hit other frets. (I always love how normal sized guitarists tell me I'm lazy because I struggle with the bottom frets of a 25.5 inch scale, but blame the guitar not themselves when they have trouble playing above the 14th fret on a short-scale guitar!).Really short scale guitars like this are built for children and so are built to a price point not a quality point. I totally get the market reasons for this. But it generally means I have to upgrade all the components, spending more than I spent on the guitar, to actually get a useable guitar. However, this Ibanez does have good bones and so I'm prepared to do that on it as I have no other way of getting a guitar that actually fits me. The only things I probably won't be replacing are the tuners as they seem fine and the similarly the bridge. I am grateful this little guitar exists as it allows me to indulge in my metal shredding fantasy without giving me RSI or other injuries I'd get trying (and failing) to use a 'normal' sized guitar.

Superb guitar for young player
This was a Christmas present for grandson who is learning to play guitar at school, and already in a very very young band. He loves it and should get several years of use until he needs a full size adult version. It’s exactly the same as full size version, sounds fantastic. Dad and grandad both play guitar, so it was highly praised by both of them. The blue burst is a really great colour as well

Great guitar for the small fingered and little people
Easy to play for those of us with Trump hand. I've just bought another one and it's so beautiful, the blue colour pings. These guitars play aswell as my full size Sonic Mustang and are superbly prepared and good value. Well worth paying a little bit extra as compared to other 3/4 size guitars The blue is the nicest colour. If you have tiny hands don't torture yourself trying to play big guitars, all the experts say hand size doesn't matter but it really does , and it makes no difference how I position my wrist, this guitar means I keep on playing !

Perfect for a starting guitar
Bought for my six year old. He’s probably too young in terms of patience to learn it properly just yet but size wise it’s spot on. it’s a great Guitar and I can play it at 46 so he’s got many years to pick it up.
