I have used other witch hazel products, from cheap to not. This Humphrey's toner does everything I want, and what I don't. The toner works well, delivering a gentle clean. It doesn't have a heavy strong sent, nor does it irritate. I have had mild to not so mild irritation issues with other brands, not Humphreys. I appreciate the thoughtful packaging too. The top has a small pull tab in the center of the seal. Once pulled, this opens the small hole at the top. This makes it easier not to over dispense the witch hazel The bamboo top seals well, and is also a nice touch.

I’m not a fan of this toner, though I think it’s just not for me. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling hydrated but the scent is pleasant. Cute bottle and calms any redness. I’d love if the bottle would’ve been glass but it was plastic and dented.

Firstly, you should know, this stuff does not smell good. That being said, you get used to it pretty quickly. But, it is so soothing for the skin. Whenever I have skin irritation, I can use this to soothe it and reduce a little of the redness. Its also very natural. It does contain alcohol which can be drying if you have sensitive skin, but mine is not sensitive to alcohol, so it works for me. Highly recommend.

Have used this brand before and know how good it is. I chose this partly due to the aloe and it's alcohol free too. Feels nice and soothing when applied, no irritation at all. The downside to this toner however, is the nasty smell. I just have to hold my breath while using it. The scent goes away quickly, thank goodness!

When I ordered this, it said two (2) bottles, but I only got one. There is no way I would have paid this price for an 8 ounce bottle! UPDATE: The second bottle arrived a week later. This is better than most other witch hazel brands I have used because it does not leave my face feeling dry, like other brands do.

Really good - this is my second bottle. I’m a mature woman in her 50+ years and has helped diminished my redness and skin tone. The bottle took a while to arrive though but worth waiting for! Recommend.
