I first tried this sauce on a vacation in Costa Rica. I couldn't bring any back and was so excited to be able to order them and share them with my friends. The flavor is great with beans!

I’ve been using this sauce for 15 years plus! We discovered it in Costa Rica, it was a condiment at the breakfast buffet where we stayed. I use it in tacos and on eggs with rice and black beans.

I love this sauce so much. I wish they had it in every store. It's such a unique flavor it adds zest to whatever you add it to. So good I could drink it.

We love Lizano Salsa. We buy the small bottles so we can share with family and friends.

Been to over 30 countries on 4 continents, tried lots of sauces and this one is simply the best and unique. There's no other sauce like that. I heard stories about people going to Costa Rica, falling in love with it and not being able to get it anywhere else so trying to make it themselves like my Costa Rican wife who is the best cook in the world. It's not spicy at all as many people would think but gives very nice flavour to any kind of meet, especially beef. I suggest marinating it overnight to absorb the flavour and with pineapple to make it softer. The price on Amazon is a rip-off though comparing to Costa Rican prices but hey, it's worth it!

Great sauce and cheaper to buy here than to travel back to Costa Rica to get some.

This sauce lends a wonderful accent to any vegetable dish. It tastes soy sauce based, but has a lovely slightly sweet addition to it. I first encountered it by chance in Costa Rica, and knew right away I would always want it available to me, but could only find it through Amazon after arriving home. It’s pretty pricey compared to what you pay for it in C.R.! Makes a great small gift as well.

A friend of mine brought back of bottle of this from Costa Rica and now I put on virtually everything -- eggs, sandwiches, meat and fish. It's not salsa as most North Americans would think of it. It has an earthy and slightly spicy flavour that falls between a hot sauce and salsa with maybe some HP sauce, kind of. It's unique and delicious. Salt is probably the main ingredient.

I love the sauce. But had I shopped around in my city, I would have been able to get it for 1/3 of what I paid.
