I bought a pound of this shea butter last May. It is now April, and I finally finished it. The last portion of the butter smells just as lovely and feels just as nice as it did last year. I am back for more.I use this butter, coconut oil, and jojoba oil to enrich base lotions, like the 10-ounce Cerave lotion or its WalMart generic equivalent. I heat up the solids and whip all the extras into the base lotions; then I store the new product in the old container and the new container (as now there is more). This enriched lotion works so, so well as a comparative to high-end moisturizers. And the benefits for nail cuticles? Just wonderful. My nails, nail beds, and cuticles are healthy and not ragged.Shea butter and azealic acid have become very good helpers when my psoriasis flares up, too. Combined, they calm red areas down when even clobetasol struggles to help. It’s just right. Terrific stuff. You can soften it by mixing it with vegetable oil. I did that and added some vitamin C serum from the dollar store.With Shea butter you might encounter things it feel a little bit hard, but they’ll soften right up with the heat of your hand or your body. It’s in between light oils and heavy things like Vaseline. I haven’t used Léana LINE so I can’t speak of that. It’s not as slippery as coconut oil. The colour doesn’t matter to me. There’s no fragrance it’s not really greasy, it absorbs fast. I put it in a plastic tub the size of the medium size cottage cheese one. It came from my previous purchase of Shea butter. I just dip my fingers into it. So it’s easy to use.

I wanted to try a natural product so I didn’t use lotion all over my body constantly. I feel weird about the chemicals leaching into my skin. So I did some research and saw that Shaw butter is really good. I did some investigating and came across this particular brand and I am so happy I did. This is the real deal, fresh and pure quality. The smell is exactly how it should smell and the texture is really creamy. I have had other shade butters in the past that were grainy, had balls in it, we’re dried out, smelled weird etc. this is by far the best I have ever tried. I will be coming back for more when I run out.Just a tip: I live in the Arizona desert and my skin dries out so bad even with thick lotions. I found the BEST solution to this. After my shower, while my skin is damp, I put jojoba oil all over my body. I let that absorb for about five minutes and then put shea butter on top to seal everything in. It is a little greasy at first, but once it absorbs I have never had smoother skin. I am so happy I found this! I really recommend it and I am not one to recommend products Willy nilly. It’s exactly what it says it’s super soft like butter. Quality is amazing has my skin looking so shiny and not dry. Scent is just shae butter. It’s a whole pound of it

This appears to be the real deal. Smells fresh and nutty, not rancid, no heavy chemical smell, feels penetrating like shea butter should. But this seems to be a teeny bit greasier than my previous product (that was the very highest quality I've seen). Alas, they're no longer available. It may be that this contains a little more moisture, especially since I had my last order for 2 years. Also, this shea butter is a little green, just a little. But it is a nut after all, and seasons could naturally affect color and quality. So I took a star for not being A+quality. I gave it an A-. Still a very good product. I'd order it again. (I had to return a different seller's shea that I recently ordered on Amazon. It smelled like paint thinner. And it was rated well. Uh-huh. Not putting paint thinner on my skin. Nope.)

I think this shea butter great. It looks exactly as on the product photo. I did a research on what raw shea butter should smell like. It has exactly the smell that I read about: "earthy, nutty, and slightly smoky aroma". I can tell this is very fresh. It's been sitting on my desk for a few days now and I must tell there is something in this smell that I like. I used it as one of the ingredients in my home-made deodorants. Besides this shea butter I also added beeswax, mango butter, potato starch, aroma oils and some other ingredients, so in the final product I can't feel the earthy smell of shea butter as it's completely hidden behind the other components. I am happy with the quality of this shea butter.
