Our Earth's Secrets Ivory Raw Unrefined Shea Butter Top Grade, 1 Pound

I wanted to try a natural product so I didn’t use lotion all over my body constantly. I feel weird about the chemicals leaching into my skin. So I did some research and saw that Shaw butter is really good. I did some investigating and came across this particular brand and I am so happy I did. This is the real deal, fresh and pure quality. The smell is exactly how it should smell and the texture is really creamy. I have had other shade butters in the past that were grainy, had balls in it, we’re dried out, smelled weird etc. this is by far the best I have ever tried. I will be coming back for more when I run out.Just a tip: I live in the Arizona desert and my skin dries out so bad even with thick lotions. I found the BEST solution to this. After my shower, while my skin is damp, I put jojoba oil all over my body. I let that absorb for about five minutes and then put shea butter on top to seal everything in. It is a little greasy at first, but once it absorbs I have never had smoother skin. I am so happy I found this! I really recommend it and I am not one to recommend products Willy nilly. Update! Ordered more!! This is excellent for making soap as well as creams!! Very pleased with this product!!This shea butter is the real deal! I was a bit skeptical because it was cheaper than some of the other brands but I took the plunge anyway! So glad I did! It arrived well packaged and on time. The texture is very nice! I’ve been making creams with it! I have a friend that was dealing with eczema but after using this it finally went away and I also have a scar from earlier this year that is shrinking in size since I started using it!! Excellent for skincare and hair! Very absorbent! Will definitely purchase again and recommend to others!

Ordered this item 2 times! I use in lotions, deodorant etc. Has a nice, soft, natural scent. Not overly oily or greasy and leaves skin feeling super soft and moiturized. Exceptional, consistent quality, nice and smooth with no imperfections. Completely satisfied with this product and will definitely order again soon.

Update: after a few months of use, I notice this product from March 2025 has this underlying greasey oil scent that I don't like and I don't experience from premium shea butter.---Good stuff. Smells good (fresh, no rancid scent).For my face, I normally choose a more expensive and a more premium shea butter (not this one).For my body, I decided I wanted something a little more affordable, given the volume I'll be using for my body will be greater.I once switched from the premium brand to a cheaper brand in the past and that was a mistake and refrained from picking any new brands.This time I decided to take the risk on this product - I received this last week and I'm glad to report it smells like shea butter should, so it's fresh without any rancid smell or strange color. Honestly it smells and almost looks like the brand I use for my face.Now I'm going to make a whipped butter for my body which I'm looking forward to. Might patch test on my face eventually and if I don't have any reactions I may completely switch for body AND face.I may report back in 2-4 months.Thank you for the delivery and fresh shea butter.

My mother was infuriated when I ordered this and received it, but it was worth getting!It is super moisturizing and hydrating! But in an awesome way!I think it is one of my favorite shea butters to use!And I do have a few brands that I use.Once it is applied to my face, or anywhere on my body, you really can't tell that I am wearing shea butter. It's not really greasy or tacky to wear either. A good tip is to pat it in after you place it on your skin, that way it is absorbed when you lie down or do whatever you need to do. But this goes for any shea butter. It does help to use something like aloe vera on top to lock in the moisture if you want to absorb it even faster, but it already sinks into my skin very quickly! Sometimes I am just surprised at how quickly this really absorbs compared to some Brands I've used. I'd say this is right up there in my list of top five brands to use. I bought this thinking I was going to use it with my wife Michelle, but she passed away on June 7th, 2024. So now I have a whole 10 lb block to use on my own. In the future, if I ever order this, and this is my advice to you if you are one person, I'm just going to order the one or two pound block instead. Anyway, I love the shea butter and would highly recommend it! I only wish that the packaging was better, a sturdier bag would have been nice. The bag I had for mine ripped The aluminum can rip easily as well!

This Shea butter arrived perfectly protected — not just tossed in a flimsy bag. It came in a sturdy Amazon mailer, then a sealed resealable bag, then another storage bag, and finally tightly wrapped inside. That kind of care tells me everything about the quality before I even opened it. The butter itself is raw, unrefined, and packaged in a solid block, which I love because it’s easy to slice into portions for storage.As someone who works with natural ingredients, I can tell when a company respects their product, and this one absolutely does. The packaging kept it fresh, clean, and mess-free. On top of that, the price is very fair for this level of quality. I’ll definitely be ordering again.I will be providing an update on the quality of the raw unrefined Shea butter itself, but if the packaging is any indicator of the quality of the butter, I know that that Shea butter is going to be top notch for my products or anyone else’s for that fact!
