Works great, no sunburn. Cute and sturdy. Only loses sturdiness when it gets wet. But it goes back when it dries

The brim is fairly wide and provides good shade. The material is fairly thick and very strong. The hat can be "crumpled" to fit in your purse. It makes my wife look 20 years younger, LOL.

I love the color and it fits perfectly. I have several hats from this brand. Really love that it’s lightweight and still protects my head and eyes.

I bought this hate for my wife and it is not of 50! You can definitely see daylight. By the time we got it, we were on vacation. When we came back from vacation to return the item it was already passed the window of return just a month. Do not buy this if you’re wanting any sun protection.

I need a wide brim that is NOT floppy so I can see and to keep the sun off of my face to stop further skin cancer. The crown of this hat is tall and the size seems a little larger than "one size" usually is but fits fine if you wear a turban under it.

This hat came folded and is deeply creased, making it unflattering and cheap looking. I cannot get the deep creases in the wire and straw to come out

I love Dan Diego hats, I have several of them purchased in various upscale shops. This hat although a good blue color I needed, was a bit on the flimsy side. It needs a little more support in the hat. The hat is large enough for me. I have a problem finding the right size. That’s why I love San Diego hats!

The hat is very nice, well made and has SPF 50 protection. the only disappointment was they packed it the squished it into a box a little to small and I am having a hard time getting out the kinks so it looks its best

Made for folks will smaller heads and my head is pretty small, but it's tight around my forehead. Had to return.

I have a similar San Diego sun hat in a tan/taupe colour that I have had for 7 or 8 years and I love it. It has served me well. It can be folded up in your suitcase and beach bag. I wear it floating around in the pool. I thought it would be great to have it in black. The hat arrived a couple days before my trip. The quality was not nearly as good and the hat tore on the seam after only 2 days of wear. So very disappointing. I would not recommend this hat!
