desertcart.com: Okki Nokki Replacement Brush Strips, Set : Electronics Review: Easy to replace, a vital part of the Okki Nokki solution. - If you have an Okki Nokki, at some point you'll need to replace the velvet strips, so this is your part. The factory strips can be difficult to remove since they'll pull away from the adhesive, but the adhesive can be balled up and pulled away from the cleaning wand fairly easily. Okki Nokki recommends that these are replaced every 50 records (which I think is way too low), but the first time you replace them, you'll see how flat and worn the originals are. Try to install them a little bit forward. The edge closest to the vertical stalk of the cleaning wand will probably have flattened marks on it and that's not where cleaning is effective, so I nudged mine a few mm towards the end of the wand, for LP's that have grooves pretty close to the label. Review: Hmmm... - I'm not sure if these are aftermarket or if Okki changed the quality of the felt. My previous strips were super smooth and laid perfectly flat. In my case, the felt is fuzzier and one edge has what I can best describe as small ripples in them. I applied this edge facing outward so it doesn't come in contact with the record, thus avoiding potential damage. In terms of size, I think these are 1-1.5mm narrower and a fraction of a millimeter thicker than my old felt strips. Overall, they still seem to work just fine. UPDATE: After cleaning about 20 records, the strip is showing easily visible signs of wear. I attached pictures of a heavily used OEM strip that came with my Okki Nokki vs a replacement strip ordered from desertcart that has cleaned about 20 records. The one from desertcart is showing signs that it needs to be replaced already. Either Okki is using a much lower quality strip (and this is what is being sold here) or this is an aftermarket knockoff.

Not OEM and overpriced........
The strips have wrinkles in them and make it almost impossible to apply flat on the vacuum bar without a bump remaining. Also, the knapp on these strips are not the same as the original ones supplied with the vacuum bar. These have a longer knapp and leave water/solution on the record after it lifts and remains much damper. Thirdly, these are sold at a ridiculous price of $22 for a couple of felt strips. I ended up cutting one of my Mobile Fidelity dusting pads (which are the correct knapp length and texture) and they work perfectly. They cost a lot less even though they are a little shorter than the Okki Nokki strips, the patched piece I made to fill in the extra length I put in the dead wax area where it doesn't matter if it leaves a spot of water. Just wipe it up with a micro fiber cloth. All-in-all very disappointed and will never purchase again.

Rstored my vacuum tube to new suction and drying norms.
This is the second time I've replaced these since 2011. They've worked perfectly for me. Easy installation. Instantly suction and drying improved back to new standards. I even bought and extra pair for next time.

After 500 records, itโs time to change!
Fits well, direct replacement. Does the job.

Poor quality
Way over priced for what you get. Adhesive wears out very fast. Wish I had bought a VPI or other album cleaner.
