A high quality thermal paste while pricey, is worth every cent/penny.
The 2 gram syringe is just enough to do 1 amd cpu. Usually when using thermal paste on a cpu there is almost always a settling-in period at first to where the paste "even's" out throughout the cpu just after being applied, at the point where the thermal paste finally settles a fluttering effect can be seen on screen. While the settling-in effect is expected concerning most thermal pastes(after being applied), this thermal paste is the exception to that rule. I just installed a brand new amd cpu(ryzen 9 5950x) in my gaming pc, which is the top/best/most-advanced amd cpu(performance wise) that can be installed on the AM4 socket on my current pc motherboard. Atm there is no settling-in effect with using this thermal paste which means this thermal paste is a step(s) above the competition in overall quality as it fills in any and all empty pockets/spaces while applying it to a processing unit(which is very good). I was a little worried when I found out that it had aluminum particles in the paste itself, thankfully the particles are so small and oxidized that they are non conductive. Which means there is no risk of shorting anything out if you apply the paste wrong by accident. The paste is expensive, but not unreasonably priced. If your going to spending a good amount of money upgrading a pc, you might as well invest in good high quality thermal paste too that will last. Because this thermal paste has good/efficient heat transfer dissipation it will last longer because it will be subject to the stresses of heat to a lesser degree: which means that the paste itself will not dry out faster due to being subject to the stresses of heat over time. Also due to superior heat dissapation the paste keeps things operating at a cooler temperature which means the cooling fans operate at a lower speed which means less noise and less stress on the pc in general due to a lower temperature. It is a little tricky to work with than other competitor's thermal paste products. But it does provide superior performance when used and applied correctly. Based on my previous experience with this thermal paste, I would definitely buy this thermal paste again. Do not let the price discourage you from buying this really good thermal paste I would definitely recommend it.

The good stuff
Expensive per ounce but works very well on my ASIC Bitcoin miners. Long lasting and reliably keeps the chips cool.

From a PC mega enthusiast & tweaker, this is the best thermal paste on the market, hands down.
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme takes the already perfect and beloved normal Kryonaut paste and takes it up a notch, by creating that new notch for itself. While many may not see the need to find the “best of the best” in every product they buy, and while I don’t necessarily either in every area of commerce, PC parts and accessories are something I’ve spent over a decade testing, perfecting, and tweaking to gain the highest performance possible. Kryonaut Extreme is not your average consumer thermal paste, nor is it just a “top shelf” product. It’s in a category of its own, and consistently beats out competitors in every aspect time and time again. You can look this up yourself, or take it from me (a stranger ranting about their niche interests on the internet), Kryonaut & Kryonaut Extreme consistently deliver the best cooling possible, the lowest CPU temps, and the best durability on the market for ultra high performance thermal pastes. It’s easy to use, comes with a spreader, and 2g is more than enough for a single application, and I currently use the 2g size every 6 months to 1 year to make sure I’m always on top of my game (highly unnecessary, this paste will last you 2-4 years at a normal or above average usecase, I just push my overclocking to the absolute max.) While it’s designed to be effective with LN2 cooling, it’s more than effective for every PC user putting any stress on their CPU, regardless of how they’re cooling it. It’s well worth the price for the size, and you will not be disappointed in any way with Kryonaut Extreme.

Great Product & Lower Cooling
> Great Product > der8auer is a genius and very reputable in the industry > Not for the faint of heart > Will test your patience when applying using the tools given > Take your time and go slow when applying (cannot stress that enough) My 14900K is cooling at lower temperatures due to this product alone. So take your time when applying, have patience, if you are in a rush to get it on and over with, use a different product or take a break. Do this correctly and enjoy a better performing/cooling CPU

Seems to work great
Expensive!!!! My mini pc I turned in to a car stereo is built in to the dash with ventilation best I could so it ran hot 60c on idle 70-80c on loads till the paste dried out and started to power off this idles around 50-58c and 63-76c full load we will see how long this stuff holds up for. $22 for what looks like one application is too much but if it lasts I'll stop complaining about the price.

Quality Paste for quality products, worth every penny..
Huge temp drop running cinebench from using Kryonaut high performance, compared to Extreme performance obviously depending on your CPU for the most part noticed a 6 to 7 degree temp drop, running cinebench multithread using a Ryzen 7 5800x a chip known to run kind of hot, well went from 90 temp to around 83 running on all cores stress test. this is a huge difference from original paste from pre built distributer, even if you build your own, your gonna want to spend the extra money for this performance.. Enjoy.. Mind you idle or running regular apps hitting 29 to 39 then hitting like 50 but then dropping again depending on your config and best for AIO coolers .. A MUST BUY..

Do you really need Extreme?
In hindsight, it seems excessive for my actual use case: I should have been more rational and went with Duronaut or Kryosheet instead. Despite my mistake, I still consider Thermal Grizzly to be a trustworthy brand.

Excellent paste, not worth it for 9800x3d
TLDR, Don’t buy if you are using 9800X3D unless you want something pink. It is expensive. You don’t need LN cooling feature. It is hard to apply properly, and might pump out quickly if you have large and frequent thermal cycle. And most of all zero temperature (or less than 1C) improvement compared to MX6 for 9800X3d. So save your money if you have 9800x3d and get any of like MX-6 and equivalent. They won’t make huge difference. And they are way easier to work with. My idle are from 43C to 43C after switching from MX6 to Kryonaut Extreme and 74C max to 74C max for 100% load (~75% fan) at cinebench 2024 (PBO negative 35 all cores and auto scaling) with PA120 (1 fan only in middle, I tested with duo fan setup and see no noticeable temp change here). It works for chips which are themal paste bottlenecked. But in the case of 9800x3d, you are actually not limited by thermal paste. So it won’t make any noticeable difference. On contrary, it is much more difficult to work with and spread since it tends to stick to spatula. And also it is known to suffer from durability issue if you have frequent and large thermal cycle. And you really don’t need the feature for LN cooling. Ofc, it is more expensive. If you want something pink, you can get it, otherwise a cheap and decent thermal paste will serve you well for 9800x3d.

Tercih edilebilir.

Totalmente recomendable.

Best Thermal for Laptop
Bought for Acer Nitro 5. Temperature dropped from 94 to approx 83. FPS improved 33 to approx 45. Best quality. Easy to use.
