Cen-Tec Systems95545 Antistatic Vacuum Shop Vacs with Expanded Multi-Brand Power Tool Adapter Set, 10 Ft. Hose with Protective Sleeve, Blue

I was hesitant to buy this due to it's length, for fear of loosing a lot of suction from my shop vac. Point is, it doesn't loose any suction and it now allows me to put the vac outside the room/area I'm working in.Some things that I noted:The adapters are a great touch. They were made to allow you to attach the hose to any power tool to assist with dust management. Two of the main features of these are:- By rotating the yellow collars, it allows you to open a hole in the line to reduce the amount of suction pulling from the tool. Which is great for sanding applications.- They have a two tab quick release that attaches to the hose. Making it quick for swapping between tools for dust management. Assuming you have more of Cen-Tec Systems' adapters attached to your other tools.I've even used one of the adapters on my Sebo X4's Vacuum attachments and it works. Not a 100% perfect seal, but there isn't enough of a loss of suction to be an issue, in my opinion.Overall construction of the hose is great. It doesn't feel like a thin plastic hose that you'd pick up at the box stores. I haven't heard back if it's rated for being crush resistant or proof, but I'd wager that it could withstand a couple of people walking on it before it started to crack.Only issue I'd complain about, is the price of the unit. Who doesn't want a nice piece of gear for cheaper, right?

Seemed high quality at first but the rubber threads inside connectors were destroyed after 3-4 uses so now they fit very loosely and I am using hose clamps to hold them in place, works fine but not as convenient

Appears to be good quality.Used for a sheetrock sanding machine.

Several times in the description it says it's compatible with Makita tools but none of the provided adapters work with the Makita track saw. I guess return or spend another $30 on the "expanded" adapter kit to see if I get lucky.

After a short period of use, I can call this a 4-star product that may well go up to 5 stars after extended use. I do like the fittings, I ordered an extra set of fittings so that I can leave them attached to certain machines. The tapered fit and smooth interior + static dissipation are really helpful although I might add a bonding wire inside my DIY woven cover. This brings up an sad topic for me: at the time I bought my hose kit, there was no woven cover option, so I had to make my own, too bad, I suggest that people order the jacketed version.

Purchased this kit from a big orange home improvement store. Within the first month of usage the connector at the end of the hose snapped off rendering the hose and all the attachments useless. The connection system is a proprietary quick connect which means all the items that came in this kit serve no purpose once the connection on your hose snaps off. I'm weekend do-it-yourselfer so the hose was not heavily used and spent most of the first month hung up in the garage. I sent an email to the company asking about warranty replacement and never got a response. I'd stay away from this brand and all of their hoses.

Big improvement over stock shop vac hoses. Good length, flexible & light. Fitting work well on various tools that were tricky to connect to before
