My daughter uses these. She likes them very much. I liked their price.The only, somewhat complaint, she has is that the thumb isn't as mobile as the last pair she had. Meaning, that the thumb is sewn, in a slightly more constrictive way, limiting mobility but offering more protection.I personally think she's off the mark and just looking for something to complain about.

The only reason I give these gloves a 4 is cause I'm pretty sure they are 14oz not 16oz. Other then that it's a quality glove that I have been using for over 2 months now and I spare regularly and my partners don't mind them either and that's what counts

Awesome gloves! Love the extra top wrist and arm support. Colors, padding and material is worth the price. Only concern is they aren't true 16oz gloves. I have a pair of 16oz from a different brand and this ones feel a bit lighter in comparison. These feel like 12 or at most 14 oz......as I predict I got them weighed and they are 13oz not 16.

I love these gloves! Better than expected! I wear kinda long nails too so it's good protection for those as well. They are comfortable and a good fit!

Bought these for my wife who has joined a boxercise class, she seems happy with them so far.She threw a rather tasty left jab, right cross, left uppercut combo on me last Saturday night, the paramedics told me I was lucky to suffer minor concussion and stitches, good job the gloves are so well padded.

I am a victim of going against my own advice with these gloves, you really do get what you pay for and in these gloves you get poor quality.Uncomfortable would be in improvement to be honest, there is very little give in the main padding, the thumb has a ton of padding on the outside which really isn't needed but none where it matters which is on the inside, the thumb stitching is horrible and has given me problems each time i have used these gloves, it digs into the part of my hand where you thumb meets the palm and leaves the area red,aching and stiff for a few hours afterwards.if i didn't need these gloves as my old ones had fallen apart i would send them back as they are really horrible but i do need them until i can find a better pair so my advice to anyone looking for a cheap pair of gloves to work a heavy bag with is to give these ones a miss, spend a little more and get a good pair.

I've only used a few pairs of cheaper gloves so can only comment on the quality of the budget end.These are great for general boxing training and are better for both your hands and sparring partner than using 14oz or lower.They are easy to put on even when one hand is already gloved and the only improvement would be if/when they soften up after repeated use

I grabbed a pair of 16 ouncers to tide me over until I chose a "decent" pair of training gloves to last me a few years. I was very surprised at the quality for this kind of money! They look and fit like a "pro" pair of training gloves (sparring and bag work) with the extended wrist support, quite tight to begin with while wearing wraps so you need to break them in a bit.I wasn't sure about the shiny plastic look of them but you get used to it and for this money it's fine. I had the "pro boxer" type, the gold design, as they all look different. Definitely recommend them for a first timer or beginner.

But yes seriously, especially if you are a beginner or just want to train for yourself, I 100% recommend these gloves. You won't go wrong. Oh and also -on the 16oz ones that I gtot, the elastic is so strong that actually even just clenching your fist takes a bit of effort which is going to really help strengthen my wrist again over time as you obviously need to work against that resistence every time you punch.
