I ordered this wavy scratcher instead of the plain rectangular one because my cats seem to love this shape better,they cuddle up on it to nap,and,of course,use it to claw their nails on. This scratcher is holding up well,it's been 2 weeks now,and as you can see by the photo,it's still new looking. I bought one from a different company and my cats won't use it,I've had them for a month and they are still brand new looking,so I will definitely continue ordering from here! The prices are better and quality is purrrfect!

Scratchers at target can cost minimum $10. I usually get my scratchers at tjmaxx or homegoods because they’re cute and are about $4.99. I decided to check Amazon, because usually they have good deals (duh lol), but sometimes I worry about the quality and that’s why I like buying in store, so I can see/feel the quality for us is going through the hassle of having to return some thing from Amazon. I also usually don’t buy more than one scratcher because I don’t have space to store extra items but usually my cats go through one scratcher pretty quick, so I figured I’d be replacing it soon anyway. I had a spot or two of them fit perfectly so I left them that way. I’ve had these for at least three months and they’ve held up a lot better. That could also be because they’re scratching two at a time but regardless, it’s worth it.

Me, I'd give them 4 stars as I am the one who has to sweep up the little pieces of cardboard strewn about after a fierce claw-scratching fest! But, if it means they ignore the sofas, curtains and throw rugs, I'll bow to the cats' wishes and say 5 stars!

My cats are on these things constantly. I have one in each room. I read that cats scratch when they’re excited to see you, and that’s definitely the case because they run to them after they greet me at the door, when I first wake up, when it’s time to eat, basically all the time! They are holding up pretty well since it’s very sturdy cardboard, and can be flipped on both sides. I put one in front of a mirror that I have on my floor and my one cat treats it like her probate yoga studio, staring at how pretty she is while she stretches. Lol. These were amazing for training them to not scratch carpeting and furniture. When they started to scratch some thing, that wasn’t OK, I would boop them and say, “bad scratch” and then pick them up and put them on the board and say, “good scratch” in a light happy tone and, within days, they got the idea. It’s a fun outlet for them. In fact, as I write this review, I can hear one of them going at it in the other room. Good kitties.

My cats, all 4 of them really love these. I sprinkle some cat nip on them every few days and the cats really have a good time doing their daily scratches....plus it cuts down on their wanting to scratch things they shouldn't. I will always have a stash of these tucked away.

It is great. My one cat uses it fine, she sharpens her claws and really likes it. My other cat seems to be, well, the only way to describe it is, he seems to be in love with it! He sleeps on it or lays next to it. I guess the catnip has him under a spell! The only thing is, he never sharpens his claws! It's been over a week so far! Lol

Our cat loves this scratcher. I didn’t think about it beforehand or I would have covered the bottom of the scratcher with paper because the catnip included falls through the corrugated channels and lands on the floor creating a mess. Otherwise, a good purchase.
